The Clock Tower Cupola lifted to the top of the Orange County Courthouse

On Thursday, June 27, 2024 the restored copper covered cupola was lifted to the top of the Orange County Courthouse by an R. H. Marlin crane. Work to refurbish the cupola was done by Smither Roofing. Smither Roofing has been in continuous operation since 1868. Workers from Glenroy Construction Company carefully guided the dome with its shiny new surface into place.
