The Arc Troopers aired in the Clone Wars and was such a brilliant addition by Tartakovsky. I loved how they were basically in silence for a majority of their mission yet executed it with such finesse. Even when things were getting intense I never felt things were out of their control. @Extant Fellow Agreed. Though how I like the think of it is that Fordo and Alpha17 along with the rest Alpha and Null class ARC Troopers were the ones bread earlier on. Then seeing how independent they were, Palpatine cut the independence for the rest of the ARC troopers made, such as the one that went from normal clone to ARC but left the rest with their independence since they proved to be of great use during the war. And then most of them went to the phase 2 experimental with the exceptions being Fordo with the Muunilinst 10 and Alpha 17, and preferred to go by their own unique style.

@Extant Fellow Thanks, and what I've also gathered and glad about is that because of the Muunilinst 10 and Alpha 17's independence meaning they would be more likely to disobey order 66 since there is no chip driving them to do it. Which I would very much imagine that Fordo would disobey because although there were jedi that he likely disliked, he likely had respect for quite a lot of the jedi like Obi-wan, Plo Koon, Anakin, Yoda, etc. Basically any jedi that respected the clones Fordo likely had respect for.
