Yeah, I love that too. But this battle was so badass! Even though the Republic fleet was outmaneuvered and outgunned, they kicked ass and took out like 2 munificents, loads of B1's and vultures, i think crippled a Providence, and the rest of the fleet was either disabled, crippled or heavily damaged! But the Republic also suffered a lot of casualities.

@@e3nethan910 boring, this happens every battle. how is it cool it kick ass when it happens everytime? the 'good gies' always kick so mutch ass, and the 'bad gies' in this series never have a proper victory, when it happens its always incredably costly. why should i care about the clones? we know they are going to win and kick ass, nothing to really worry about. why should i care that they win? the series shows that even when they loose they win... the series is for people who get excited over pritty lights, i got bored of it as a kid, my little sibilings and cousins got bored of it too. its not fun or interesting if the bad gies are shit.

@@matthiuskoenig3378 Go hate on this great show someplace else!
@Ham_CheeseSandwich3 жыл бұрын
Matthius has a point. The bad guys barely ever win in this show without the victory being phyrric. The only time I can think of when they won, even temporarily, without incurring great losses was on Felicia. Even Ohnaka's Gang took massive amounts of manpower losses. It even happened with Gregor when he was up against dozens, if not hundreds of droids and exposed tbh. I ain't hating, but having the Villain's win a genuine, 100% victory sometimes would be nice to see. The heroes in this show get too much plot armor for it to watchable sometimes. Especially during the early seasons.
@Ham_CheeseSandwich3 жыл бұрын
Most of the times we see villains having won something, the dub is usually taken off-screen. I mean, I ain't hating, but I'd rather watch the seppies win something once like they did with the Malevolence, rather than be told of a bunch of off-screen victories.

You can’t say that the 212 can’t throw hands 2. This somewhat shows that grievous is still a huge threat. Even with the overwhelming amount of droids, the clones had the advantage of the narrow halls to funnel them through and might’ve even had a chance still. The sheer fact that grievous was on board made the ship already lost 3. I like how they animated even the engineers fighting back with their blasters as kenobi calls for retreat

2:34 "You'll regret that." You can tell that obi wan was PISSED for that little show off stunt grievous pulled there to try and demoralize the clones. Most of the jedi, despite the clones being made to be expendable, were very compassionate for the clones. Which makes order 66 so painful for the clones and jedi alike.

Can we talk about how well this scene, and many others like it, give a spotlight to how much the Jedi and Clones can come to care about each other? It's glossed over many times in Star Wars. I've seen so much material that shows Jedi flat out not reacting to the death of their soldiers.
@ciaranmcguinness89007 жыл бұрын
Young Culture Films Obi Wan,Yoda,Anakin and Plo Koon were always shown to be close with their troopers in The Clone Wars, Plo Koons gunships have a drawing of him and clones on it and it says "Plo's bros"

Ciaran McGuinness You're right, as well as Anakin. That's why I like this show so much. It shows that bond.
@ciaranmcguinness89007 жыл бұрын
Young Culture Films it also made Clones feel more human because the films just glossed over them as expendable, I litterally didnt care in ROTS when Clones died,but The Clone Wars gave them names,Identities and stories every single one of them and I always felt a little sad when a clone died in The Clone Wars, also seeing them get so close to their Jedi Brothers in Arms only to then turn on them makes Order 66 all the more sad, at least Rex,Gregor and Wolffe toom their chips out

There's a fan created audio series of Star Wars vs. Warhammer 40k and in it there's a neat little story change that explains why Clone Wars Grievous is so different from Legends 2d Grievous. Check it out it's a great audio series that's true and fair to both sides.

I love these scenes of the seperatists completely overwhelming republic forces. Since we view the series from the republics point of view we generally see them being ineffective and the war feels one sided and not like an actual war. Also the scene of grevious demolishing clones was chefs kiss

The Separatists would have eventually outnumbered the Republic if it wasn't for the shut down.
@bluethunderbolt96312 жыл бұрын
Sidious and Dooku had to severely limit the fighting capabilities of the Separatists because of this. Letting intel get into enemy hands, sabotaging Separatist worlds, and especially sending Grievous out on witch hunts. Seriously, for how much they downgraded him from legends, Grievous remains the best Admiral/General the Separatists ever had, and that due to his versatility alone. You know what I would've wanted to see? Him leading small teams of Commando Droids, taking out Republic bases in remote regions. With his personally trained Magnaguards arriving with a small battlegroup to help take out the occasional armor. Something like a Transformers Prime treatment, where we spend maybe not half, but like a quarter of the time on the other side of the conflict. See how THEY win with terrifying ease.
