Call this clone: "Gears." Fan lore: (my idea of how he got the name) This nickname he got while in the barracks of kamino, still training with his lads, for being a tinkerer. He was always seem taking something apart, and putting it back together. This is partially where his gear shaped symbol on his helmet comes from. He was one of the better ones at the disassembly drills their sergeant would give them on their dc-15 carbines. That's how i think he got his name, gears. :)

Well, that’s debatable. I don’t think they’re slaves. I also don’t think they’re expendable. Some troopers will desert, and just like in real life, there are punishments for that. They always had to fight, but it doesn’t make much difference to whether they were actually conscripted to do that.

That clone in the bacta tank is a bad ass. He's like that injured American soldier from ww2, who when the Japanese bonzai charged his tent, grabbed his m1911 and saved the life of his surgeon, by killing a Japanese soldier who had him out flanked, as his surgeon was quite busy with a few other japanese soldiers, who had also breached the tent. Even though this man was badly wounded, he still picked up his gun and fought to save his surgeon's life. And that surgeon would repay the favor. Dying to save those injured men, as they retreated further behind american lines, with the aid of anybody who was left who wasn't shot up. When they came back for that surgeon later, they found 98 dead japneese soldiers, surrounded around his own dead body, which had been stabbed over a dozen times, to the point of almost being unrecognizable. And he had at least 8 gunshot wounds. The man was a beast. And would you beleive it, before the war, he was a dentist? xD During it he was for a short while too. Crazy guy that one.
