After the first Adamant Purge the order of arm blasts and line attacks seem to be random but favoring early arm blasts. For Auri cyclone you and teleport between the ships but it is riskier. Showing off risks loosing players who try to mimic you. Diamond shrapnel droped on the far ships teleporter pad will hit the original ship once if you teleport back before the chase starts. Drop it further back if you can or move to the short side on return to minimize the threatened area. Players without the marker should have an easy time dodging if dropped on the far ship As tank I like placing myself near the short edge of the platform. Just beyond the teleporter. That way no one has to cross the line attacks to teleport if targeted and I can't bring the lines to anyone while dropping markers.

Thanks for the guide, makes more sense now why I was oneshot a few times, which was way different from when I did it. It's because of Photon Burst, the attack that hits both tanks, but only if there are two tanks. I joined someone else to help them clear it unsynced. We had three players total, it targeted our tank and me as DPS. So I died. Good to know it wasn't my fault. Oh well, better me than the healer.

The second Adamant Purge seems to be random which side it hits. Ran it last night and it hit the same side twice killing about half of the party who thought it was just one side, then the other.

I joined an in-progress Cloud Deck where they'd split themselves into two groups and assigned each group a platform. They insta-pulled when I joined and then the guy who was in charge got mad at me when I wasn't on "my platform". I tried to explain that dividing into groups isn't necessary and actually makes AoE heals/Raid Buffs less efficient, but he just wouldn't listen... Edit: one of the tanks jumped off whenever they got a proximity marker. Somehow that didn't get criticized

I just got here and didnt want to raid for so long now I cant get enough granted they arent that hard and I have done all current regular raids and trials, alittle nervous on savage but getting geared to do it im Sage/Reaper/Monk lol. Was Black Mage in ARR. Edit: I dont know why im adding this but I have Samurai/Astrologian/Dragoon all 610 everything else is between 580-600 I know I have a problem 90 in everything which I didnt think I would do so Im farming mounts minions and weapons now till next patch oh and getting everything done did all quests minus a few raids I thought this was my last but I think Im missing a couple still, I will be frequenting your guides.

Just did this fight today. Myself and a few others were new and we wiped at least 4 times before we got all the mechanics down. Needless to say, this was one hell of a fight and it was a lot of fun!

Chi is pronounced chee. Xi is pronounced chee. Sigma is pronounced Sigma. Someone never learned the Greek alphabet. XD
