The “clueless husband” phenomenon…here’s my two cents

That is absolutely right, but wives are also culpable because they don't communicate with clear expectations. They use hints, suggestions, passive aggressive language, eye rolling, sighs, and a veritable plethora of other indirect communication tactics. Men prefer clear and direct approaches to problems and are not interested in trying to interpret what someone is feeling.

It depends on the husband. If he’s Mr Party Boy then yes he won’t see it coming and I’ve seen that and then the husband who’s faithful and a good provider,but he’s married to Mrs Nut Job with her multiple personalities and unrealistic expectations along with emotional blackmail that goes with it.
