Those people has no hours and days of formation training like even lowest levy has back in the days. Keeping formation is not too easy to perform it well. Still, they can hold formation before the charge and it still helps.

No problem :) I currently use a PS5 controller with DS4Windows to remap some of the buttons. The sticks make it easier to do nice sweeping movements compared to a mouse/keyboard :)

I’m not 100% certain, but I believe all the armour is purely cosmetic and every unit has the same stats. That said, there’s probably some minor variation in each of the weapon types (mace, sword, spear, etc). Any BRE modders around to clarify? :)

Are numbers just made equal on both sides for the most part on a unit by unit basis, or can each side bring any assortment of cav/range/inf? @@MattsFiefdom Yep, all melee weapons have the same stats, and Coalition have equivalents of each flavour weapon that BRE implements. The archers are capped at 30, cav at 20 per side, so typically each team fields 200 Inf, 30 Archers and 20 Cav in the perfect setting. Inf obviously are best in melee and on foot, archers have worse stats, and cav have equal stats to inf as far as I'm aware.

@@jinnfromouterspace the troop types are more or less limited per side, as in: 20 cav, 20 archers per side, the rest infantry (just made up numbers, mind you). It takes into account which clans want to do what, and then BRE assigns them to each team I think. Sometimes BRE Will ask one of the coalition clans to swap to their side to balance numbers, for example. As for the stats I think it's more or less the same, what changes is the loadout each brings, archers don't have shields but can shoot, cavalry have a big lance but can only use it on formation, stuff like that. If you want more details maybe someone more experience or inside knowledge can be more thorough :) I'm just a a soldier doing my part

No unfortunately no north american clans participate in bre as of now. Clans rotate roles each week so one week blood diamond might be archers the next week VD might have an archer slot

Enforces a level of discipline you dont see in other games… have you played War of Rights or Holdfast? Arguably better because the minute you enter combat there are mechanics to keep you in formation not just break like this.

The Bannerlord clan Bretonnia [BRE] go by both names. I just like to change it up sometimes :) Of the two, I think BRE is used more frequently.

Cool idea for sure. To make it more realistic and stop people just sprinting/kiting everywhere right? :) Currently, battles play out the way they do simply down to the Bannerlord engine. Battles favour players who are constantly on the move.
