I think BGT needs a b&m hyper or giga or a voyage style gravity group. Every major coaster there has inversions and I think that’s kind of an issue even though I think they’re all great.

I prefer SeaWorld and Herschend over Cedar Fair and Six Flags. I'd take the best of those two chains (BGW, SDC, Dollywood and BGT) over the very best of Six Flags or even Cedar Fair.

1000% agreed! Six Flags feels like a state fair on a larger scale! Busch Gardens parks are a lot closer to the ideal of Universal or Disney in their theming, food upkeep and quality. I can't say much about Cedar Fair since I've only ever been to King's Dominion (before they owned it) but Six Flags feels like the Walmart of amusement parks. Damn shame since they have the rights to some really good IPs for theming.

@@ashleighelizabeth5916 I'd say Cedar Fair parks are fairly similar to Six Flags parks but with a nicer atmosphere and less tackiness (on average.) But both of those chains exist mostly for the rides and I don't think that there is a huge gap between the two chains when it comes to their ride line ups, except that one is clearly more willing to purchase expensive gigacoasters than the other. So in that respect, they fundamentally accomplish the same thing. The only exceptions are Knotts Berry Farm and Six Flags Fiesta Texas which really do seem to offer a more well rounded overall experience, but they are the exceptions. On the other hand, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Silver Dollar City and Dollywood all accomplish so much more. They all have great coasters and thrill rides. But the overall experience is just so much better. Most of them have impressive theme park cuisine. They all have great shows and great shops. The experience is immersive. There's a sense of magic or fantasy about all of them like you're on an adventure or you've gone back in time. And all of their park employees are excellent, especially the Herschend folks. It doesn't feel like you're just standing in a boring queue line all day with a series of switchbacks in order to ride a coaster. Those parks do so much more. The theming is near Disney/Universal level but still having the extensive collections of thrill rides to compete with either Cedar Fair or Six Flags.

As a BGW resident, I think the flyer is a good idea, but what would be better would be an RMC ground up. Think Lightning Run at KK. The one thing BGW is missing is an ejector air time. But a flyer would be neat to see.

Good video Chris, you could also consider the Vakoma Space Warp Model for Kentucky Kingdom if the Firestorm height is an issue. It close to the height of Copperhead Strike and the coaster is currently found at Energylandia. If Vekoma could take the ending of the lift hill version with an heartline Roll when it diving in the ground would make it a four looping model and something special and unique to Kentucky Kingdom

I honestly think Busch Gardens Tampa should get a dark ride or just some more family rides. It’s coaster collection is great and it lacks some of the family rides that other Florida parks have over it.

As bgt being my home park, I do not agree. Bgt has scorpion, sand serpent, cobras curse, air grover, log flume, congo river rapids, and other kiddie sections. If anything, i feel like they need to add more flat rides because they have not one thrilling flat ride besides flacon's fury.

@@kingskew4950 flat rides may be good. My main point is that they have enough thrilling roller coasters and I am personally satisfied with their collection of that type of ride. I would love to see more coasters, but as they only really have 15 non-thrill based rides, I think a dark ride would be cool. Even if it isn't the best option, it could be great. They fall under the Central Florida blanket and they "compete" with the Orlando parks (that is in quotes because the parks are feed off one another's success, people don't take a vacation here and only visit one park so they all benefit from one another). BGT stands out because it has more thrilling rides and coasters than the other CFL parks, in my opinion. I grew up visiting the Central Florida parks, and was willing to make the hike from Orlando to Tampa solely because it had better coasters.

Fully agree with adding a B&M Giga to BGT, as the park does still lack a big floater air machine. They should also remove Sand Serpent (Maybe send it to Sesame Place where it would fit in better?) and replace it with a Gravity Group family wooden coaster to fill that gap as well. I don't think I would want to maintain a large-scale wooden roller coaster in central Florida.

I am hesitant about a B&M Giga at Dollywood, particularly because Fury 325 isn't all that far away. In fact, I think even a B&M Hyper at Dollywood is a stretch since the park is surrounded with B&M Hypers/Gigas at Carowinds, SFOG, and Kings Island. If Dollywood ever builds a hyper, I'd really like to see it come from Mack.

The interesting thing I've noticed with hershend, they don't really work with the same manufacturer in sdc. All of the coasters are from different manufacturers. Comparing sdc to dollywood, vekoma and gerstlauer are missing. I can see a vekoma suspended family coaster coming in a fireman's landing expansion. There's not much room back there but i think there's enough.

I know the people that do the gator and tiger shows at Wild adventures. They always said they never really liked the rest of the park. So me and my friend would go out and do stuff during the shows. Eventually it did get boring though. Had to be evacuated off of Cheetah once, too.

Honestly, I'd love whatever Wild Adventures may get. A Raptor would be awesome! I'm hoping for the RMC Cheetah 🤞 I would like to see Dollywood get an extreme spinner, I'd love to ride one of those. If SeaWorld Orlando even builds a new coaster in the next 5 years I'll be happy because of their struggles. But anything they get is bound to be good. I agree with BGW getting a B&M Flying Coaster but I would up the ante. Make it similar to Drachen Fires old lineup with a 300ft+ hill and drop. It would not only please enthusiasts but it would bring back a coaster that has been torn down for nearly 20 years. Remind Arrow why B&M should have done DF in the first place.

KY Kingdom next coaster that makes sense is the RMC Raptor, suppose to get one & though change in ownership, still makes sense. They would be the only one in the region & it might be smart to get one b/c Holiday World is a prime candidate for one IMO. If they wanted to go launch the Sky Rocket II make sense, again only one in the region & they don't have alot of space to work with

I like the idea of a 4D Freespin at SWSD (my home park). Would fill the spinning and off-the-track boxes and there is nothing even resembling a FreeSpin in SoCal since they closed Green Lantern (which I'm not complaining about). I would love to see a video about Herschend’s track record of doing something really unique: investing resources into fixing their coasters that aren’t operating up to their standards or just flat-out don’t work. I’m thinking Buzzsaw Falls/Powder Keg, Mystery Mine, Lightning Rod, etc. For a non-coaster example, I also think of Timber Tower at Dollywood which was eventually replaced by Dropline.

I'm not certain SeaWorld would want to work with Chance again after the Submarine Quest fiasco (unless I'm mistaken and Chance isn't the manufacturer for that ride). Maybe an Intamin Megalite, or a custom Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster to go where the Wild Artic simulator got ripped out, if they haven't scrapped the coaster plans they had for the site entirely? Though incidentally, I feel like the space Submarine Quest occupies would be an excellent spot for a smaller, custom spinning coaster.

For Busch Gardens Tampa I’d love a giga but one small problem Anything over 200 feet has to have a red blinking dot. I know Mako is over 200 ft and same with Iron Gwazi, but I don’t think they’ll pull the trigger yet on that or not It’s seriously the only downside of any Florida park

@@AirtimeThrills that’s true. I haven’t lived in Tampa for quite some years now, so I don’t know really. I just remember them having to get approval for Iron Gwazi’s height. Falcons Fury was built before, so I’m not sure what the guidelines are.

I’d like to see Busch Gardens Tampa get an RMC single rail to replace Scorpion. Yes, I understand Scorpion has a lot of historical significance to the park, but let’s be honest, it’s OLD! An RMC single rail is perfect for small spaces, so if it takes the area that Scorpion occupies, I think it would be a natural fit.

Being a missouri boy, an s&s axis would make me have 3 reasons to change my undies...if ya know what I mean. And honestly I'd never even considered it as a possibility. But if that doesn't happen, I've had my mind on them getting a b&m something off the track most likely. And a wing to match dollywood has been my assumption. But im also a pessimist when it comes to any hope of awesome things happening at my home parks. When time traveler was announced I was so bummed. I couldn't shake thoughts of pandemoniums and spinning dragons. But boy am I glad I was wrong. Its amazing. Since wildfire is there it makes me think invert or hyper from b&m is unlikely, but a invert soaring through the trees on the side of a Ozark mountain could be bad ass. Who knows. Can't wait to see what they have in the barrel.

SeaWorld San Diego made a mistake with its new Arctic Rescue coaster. It does a lot of what Manta does but worse. There's hardly any theming either. You can barely see the coaster from inside the park. They were also doing one train operations even though it just opened. Emperor was underwhelming. It has those sweeping, graceful B&M maneuvers, but Hangtime at Knott's does a much better job at making me feel something whether it's a little trepidation from the vertical lift hill (you do feel like you're going to slide backwards) or the forces. Electric Eel was closed but it looked impressive. I would have given it a try. Manta was a surprise hit with our family. It's a family coaster that is snappy and whippy. It wasn't boring like Arctic Rescue or Emperor to me. To me, SeaWorld San Diego has a ways to go before being able to survive without orcas.

Watching this video, a year later, and just coming back from a Florida vacation, SWO is lacking a family coaster. Ice Breaker changed to a 54" requirement so my son, at 51" only had Grovers and Journey to Atlantis to ride. Also, they are lacking family rides period, but this is a coaster video. I would say the new family/junior RMC would be a great fit for the park. Small to decent sized footprint and the reduced maintenance over a wooden coaster makes it attractive to the park, and with the rumored "surf coaster" from B&M, SWO needs to seriously look out for the junior enthusiast. Hard to believe that Disney is becoming the go to spot for coasters for people under 52" in Orlando, with Funspot being right there next to them.

@@AirtimeThrills I know... I considered its close proximity to IG, but I think Orlando deserves a stand out SMOOTH wooden coaster. I was thinking gravity group, but I haven't seen SW/BG work with gravity group nor do I think gravity group is super smooth, I considered GCI, but I want something more extreme than InvadR. It was the most realistic coaster I could think of while still catering to my "Thusy" side of things.
