Bruno Mars was born out of time sequence. He should have been born in the mid-1950s, so he spent his teen years living in the 1970s because The 1970s is his decade. Hence, the old-school vibe of this video, singing live in a studio with the mid-century modern look of the studio, equipment, costumes, even the lighting flashing on and off. Mars is bringing back love songs of the 1960s and 1970s, where folks sang about their feelings and described their love. Motown really brought duets and incredible harmonizing in the 1960s and 1970s. I truly miss that in the songs of today. I've not been a Lady Gaga fan but damn...what a beautiful voice she has! I love the Dolly Parton look she's come with and the ciggie of the past. I'm not mad at all about this, funny thing is I went looking to see when Bruno Mars's last upload was when I came across when my father and myself did a few songs on saxophone when he was teaching me.
