Great stuff, indeed. I'm using it every day... But what needs to be pointed out imho is, that there are some prerequisites - at least for MS Teams and Zoom - that are required for this to work. For MS Teams you need to have Webex Hybrid Calendar Connector installed. For Zoom the inviting party needs a Zoom CRC license. And USB passthrough is not available on all your devices (just the Room Kit Mini, Desk (Pro) and newer Boards if I'm not mistaken). Don't get my wrong, I don't want to rain on your parade, this is all quite impressive and I'm liking all of it. It just seems a little too easy in some parts and people might find that not all of what you showed will work right out of the box in all scenarios.

RossRoyce - Thanks for the feedback! We definitely feel that Hybrid Calendar is a foundational piece of our platform, and it is needed for Teams meetings that are using WebRTC... However, CVI/VIMT meetings do not require and stay tuned as Microsoft it making some enhancements to allow us to provide "Join Button" (Universal Meeting ID's). Zoom does require a CRC license today... but you can also leverage your own if you have one and the tenant you are joining does not. As for the USB passthrough, all of our modern devices, Board Pro, Desk series (Pro, Desk, Mini, Hub), and RoomKit Mini do have USB Passthrough built in natively. However, you can add the functionality to all of our other Room Series, and some MX/SX models, with the INOGENI 4K USB device! Today you can do this with a macro and very soon this will be supported natively in RoomOS 11!

@@thecollaboratorywithdustin6232 The MS Teams Join Button sounds promising! Will it still be based on WebRTC? As for the USB passthrough, we are already using it with a Roland UVC-01, which also works fine. Looking forward to seeing this natively supported in RoomOS 11.

The button is something we can do when MSFT goes to Universal Meeting ID's... Like Webex, Zoom, Google... They are planning this but not sure on the ETA. It could work for CVI or WebRTC ultimately

@@thecollaboratorywithdustin6232 Do you happen to know if Zoom will be allowing you to not require a CRC license (in the future) to join Zoom Meetings via Webex Board? It would be really nice if all of these platforms just played well together. I do think that's the end goal though.

When you buy a Neat device do you have to pick what you plan to use it with? For example If I were a Zoom shop I would have to specify Zoom or Microsoft respectively in which case it gets locked to it?

You pick which software load you put on the device; but if you choose to deploy as MS room you will have to format/reinstall to make it work as a Zoom Room

With Neat devices, there is no difference in hardware. When setting up the device(s), you simply chose whether or not you'd like to use it as a native Zoom Room or a native Microsoft Teams Room. If there is a need to change platforms at a later time, this can be accomplished by simply resetting the device and selecting the alternate platform (

Does the OBTP with Zoom require special calendar integration or standard Hybrid calendar integration will work? I read somewhere that you have to by edit your Zoom invite template and add a sip: handler to the beginning of the SIP URI to prevent Outlook from assuming it's an email address to make OBTP work. Is there any formal documentation on exactly what needs to be done to make it work?

Yes, this is currently true and it is documented that we require a standardized SIP URI in order to parse correctly. However, we are making improvements that will be released very soon where we will eliminate the requirement for proper URI handling with Zoom meetings and we will be able to parse and provide a OBTP for any CRC enabled Zoom meeting.

Hey Dustin great video. Im looking for more information on how this hybrid setup works. Our CEO is currently using a WebEx Mini Room kit and his assistant has to roll in a cart with a laptop so he can join Google Meets meetings. Where can i get more information on how I can configure his room kit and Navigator to be able to Join his weekly Google Meets meetings? Thanks again.

Manny, you simply need to register the device to the Webex cloud and enable Google Interop on your Webex Org in Control Hub. Then you can enable hybrid calendar to enable OBTP or you can use the Google button to join via meeting ID.
