This is amazing. The vocals are hauntingly beautiful. I like to interpret it as Marian, trying to soothe the commanders souI, telling him that its all okay... that it isn't his fault..., even though the despair and guilt in her voice is evident - that she must feel like she has failed the person who had cared for her, who had bandaged her moments before and treated her with respect and humanity, in a world where most don't. The rhythmic pounding of the beat represents the adrenaline and emotions the commander must be feeling at this point. A one-track mindset, a complete narrow-eyed state of tunnel vision on killing the monstrosity infront of him, for cutting short a story which should have been so much more. This might be a mobile game, but this hit me more than most Triple A's ever have. Goes to show that mobile games can be art too, meaningful and emotional and everything else when there is talent and soul behind the scenes!

I don't know about ya'll but the lyrics i'm hearing are more perturbing than what others are posting. Callin', in this dark coffin --- Marian trapped within the her own mind crying out for the commander as Blacksmith retreats I'm not used - to - hearing - no (the?) sound --- Marian realizing her voice is no longer her own, she can't hear *her* voice, only the cry of corruption in her mind tearing her apart. The Silence, slip (sleep?) in silence, when did - you - get filled with doubt? --- This *could* be Blacksmith's question OR the corruption instilled in Marian as it's worded curiously... It is either Blacksmith's curiosity from how Marian went from fighting the corruption to giving up and accepting her fate without fear. OR it could be the moment she's on the ground looking up at the commander, doubting his resolve to shoot her and put her to an "eternal sleep". The final "sleep" being her mind being destroyed by that single shot to the skull followed by the haunting cords of her assisting to lull her own mind into a state of calm for as long as she can after realizing the shot did not end her existence. While the thunderous guitar at the end is the commander's resolve to save his squad from ever experiencing this kind of death again, unaware that his shot didn't kill her (somehow)...

When I first played this, I honestly expected it to be just another typical Gacha game. I was proven wrong in the first two stages. When I fought this boss? I was filled with *rage* despite the fact that I hadn't even known Marian that long. The game does a wonderful job making you care about characters (Except Drake. Honestly I didn't enjoy the game at first on mobile. Aiming was.. not fun, not enough view on screen to play well. I got the PC version a while back that finally released. Game is actually legit. Yea lots of fan service goin on, but the story is interesting and keeps me pushing on. OST is pretty fire as well
