I think it's the execution buff after getting Elder Dragon.

@@markyhuiso3392 I play jungle all the time, I killed from rift herald to elder dragon, still.. Mine never did Couple things I notice, champion Atrox does the same(took out wings) after killing the opponent. No idea why I reckon it was standard skin either. But once again, I'm a totally new player in LoL, let alone wild rift

@@yahtadi5152aatrox’s character design naturally has wings. The wings are from the elder dragon, even if you kill the elder dragon, the wings wont open as a cool feature or anything, they only open up if you kill/execute an enemy champion, you can spot a small grey bar in enemy champion’s health bar, if you manage to lower their health less than that, the elder dragon will execute that champion, the execution animation is the wings of the dragon opening
