I mean, from what they say, in the whole family only the youngest kid went to college so it's not something anyone but him can say anything abiut and if he did he'd be looking down on his whole family. Also, Ryoji didn't go to college or become a musicanti to inherit the family business so again, none can really say anything to that and I think most normal people wouldn't

I don't think she deserves to be a dropout, she was neglected and she struggled growing up. Her rage was focused on her father being a high school graduate the reason. This actually wasn't her fault, it's obvious that there was more to just her struggling being the reason her mind was warped this way but since it wasn't told people would assume she just didn't appreciate what she had. Her father had something beautiful but she obviously didn't have the same privileges, otherwise why else would she be like this. Plus her father passed away the year before, this can't be something that "just happened" there's obviously a bigger picture.

No matter how you tryna makes me feel bad of her, she’s a jerk no to me until I see her apologize (oh wait I never see one). How can she said he is a terrible person with what she has done before to him without feeling no remorse or a single guilt at all. She should’ve left rotten like that. You know what, that’s what the story lack of. Should’ve extends the story a bit rather than leaving the readers wondering about the afterwards.

I'm sure nobody will ever look up on someone mind-impaired like Shitsu if she ruthlessly threw away all support from her dad who was a high-school graduate 18:50 and overwhelmed herself with pride unless she changed. And I've got no sympathy for her arrogance whatsoever, even if she had a change of heart. Also kudos to the kind MC!

Ryoji is a bigger man than me, I wouldn't yell at her or anything, but honestly I would not have the same amount of patience as him. Tsubame is a good girl who deserved to be with Ryoji. Shitsu lives up to the meaning of her name of being rude. And I don't like how she thinks her dad not going to college was why her life was bad

While the attitude and behavior of Shitsu is inexcusable, she also obviously has some serious psychology inside that need addressing. I'll be honest if I ran into someone like her in real life I'd wonder if her father really was a good guy. Because the sheer distain she showed for him and even people like him (as well as how she reacted when confronted by the MC) make me think something serious might have happened. Though I think that might also be an interesting idea for a sequel. Turns out that the father was actually an abuser behind closed doors.

I don't understand this, I didn't grow up with the option of having friends or fun activities I just took care of my family that my father left behind. I don't have a place to return to, a place to reminisce about the past but get that everyone needs a place to relax. Is that what it all is? I mean if so, why be so dramatic about it? I wanted to have friends and have fun activities after school when I was a kid but with a sick mom, a little brother and a father not around I just did life at home. Is this what I missed? It looked nice, I don't get it but I feel like I missed out on something important, something special.

This story sucks. I also think that Shitsu should have been a classmate of Ryoji and that they could have been encouraging each other to better themselves in their lives rather than cause her to be on the skids. I don't blame her for wanting to better herself than her dad, but the way that she went about it was wrong in her life.
