Thank for sharing this. Having worked as a textiles designer in both paint and CAD, there is nothing better than mixing a range of colours and planning out a design full-size. Much as I also love CAD for its abilities to layer and shift things around, for designers to only work within the confines of a CAD screen I feel that they are missing out on something very important. Get the paper and paints out again please. If only for one day a year.
