Warden player here, I bought the game 2 days ago and have almost only been fighting the Westgate front. It’s been a blast trying to partisan in a tank and I met a couple of guys who were up at 4 AM in a tank destroyer defending the front. Definitely found that I love playing in a tank above any infantry, or logi roles, but the $30 out of my wallet are on your hands Robert.

Hey Robert, so after watching your videos for a long time I finally decided to get the game and have been playing for the last 2 weeks. I ended up going Warden this war and joined a regiment and have been having a blast learning the game and doing all kinds of ops. I have been fighting on the Farranac coast and into Westgate. Warden morale is still extremely high right now. They are saying we've basically won the war and that we should be done by Christmas!

Just looking at the map over the last few wars the Colonials needs a stronger naval regiment because they are getting dominated in the island hexes and that just opens up another flank for the Wardens to attack from.

Agreed. The Colonials are well aware of what they need to do at this point. War 117 was an eye opener for them. Some medium and bigger regiments are shifting their focus more towards naval. I don't expect them to have it figured out this war but hopefully soon we should see less one sided naval engagements.

This is well understood now. 2 losses in a row to the same flank-pincer strat opened some eyes. Right now we need population to sustain pushes. Mainly logi to build our gains. If Allods was just a bit more built up the push last night would not have gotten as far as it did as quick as it did. I love the fighters in Allods though. Tons of heart and dedication.

Cool vid, fun gameplay! Tho I've been on this lane every day of the war and it's funny to see someone fight here for a day and declare the tide is turning. Every time Collies push into North Westgate their lines are stopped further south each time, last night they couldn't even kick low pop randoms out of Westgate who where doing a last stand at a BB fully expecting to get overwhelmed. Tons of builders in Farranac bracing for an impact that never came. Jade Cove is built up day after day and the Collies waste resources on relics in Westgate that the Wardens take back the next and push the line Closer to Kingstone's Conc. The Western front has been a war of attrition, Farranac Coast was a standstill for 20 IRL days. Victa to Holdfast might as well be no mans land where nothing built is expected to survive. There will be give and take but the main difference is that the Wardens threaten Kingstone daily and the Collies lost Jade Cove 5 days ago and haven't stepped foot since. If things stay at this pace, and considering Warden Weekend on the horizon, we may see a blue Kingstone soon. Though I hope you guys make us suffer as we attempt to pry it from your green hands

Thanks! While I was making this video it looked as though the Colonials were making a lot of gains and pushing through. And then of course when it got published Wardens pushed back ha. Honestly the last 3 days has been just back and forth in pretty much every hex which is kinda nuts. We will not give up! We will fight to the end!

Man. I feel that sentiment. I always ran in fire teams on a planetside 2. Sabotaging bases, intercepting dis mounted troops in the open, galaxy dropping a squad to be a guided AA menace or jumping around and blowing up Sunderers with C4.

Westgate was my 2nd day in foxhole (Wardens). i decided to give logi a try. after losing 1.5k of desperately need bmats for the Wardens after 4 hours, my sole purpose now was partisan hunting along the border with tanks that were waiting in queue. many memes followed from surprised partisan collies on the wrong side of the hex. Also watching world of tanks constantly go down in holdfast was pretty nuts too.

Farranac was such a slog to secure. Apollo's Landing just did not wanna give. Seems like once that fell, Jade was gone within like 2-3 days, when Apollo's took like 2 weeks of back n forth. Collie's have a pretty base near Kingstone right now, we'll see how it holds up for y'all.

Or there is no ammo or guns for anything else. When we lost Holdfast. The gallows had nothing in it besides some anti tank. We were forced to pistol fight. Logi hasn't been feeding our rear so when we fall back. We have nothing to fight with.

Friendly tip Robert, you should carry a pocket ignifist that way you can easily knock out a truck. Having a recon/scout uniform is handy as well if you're that far behind enemy lines.

@jeremiahpace4111 actually is the collies that go wave after wave, their "cheap" equipment is made to throw away, infantry, tanks... their guns has less range, are also lighter... wardens on the other hand are more "quality over quantity" in their philosophy

Colonial Started playing 4 day's ago and just today we manged to take holdfast I personally seen 1 infantry push of 60 players started by a random player to which I joined in and learned to play medic then I seen 2 tank assault and I swapped between infantry and medic but mostly medic and both lasted 3 to 4 hours with 9 to 11 tanks, a 3rd tank assault of 7 me and my friends decided to try artillery and got a 50-500 thunderbolt we had a plaster and managed to destroy multiple bunkers and harras their tanks we heavily damaged those tanks and scared the infantry was fun seeing them scatter away from impact zones but sadly the Wardens assembled any amphibious landing and our shores weren't well defended so they reached us very fast with the AI we pushed them 3 times we counted 12 in the first wave and 7 in the last 4h we're they made a sinucide charged and destroyed our last 2 flatbeds and the arty on and then I seen 7 R-17 firing at their lines we manged to hold 2 hills which we couldn't do that the other times we tryed. Sadly I wasn't able to see how we took over holdfast since today I wanted to try logi so I made shirts ammo gun's and grenades filled 3 tech 1 trucks and 3 shipping containers, idk if it's decent or not output but as a first time of seriously trying logi I had fun doing so

What is your opinion on the Infantry Update. I was hoping they would have made the movement a bit smoother and iron out some things like getting stuck when trying to climb out of trenches but i think that also comes down to servers and networking. Also i'm glad i can now aim at people to shoot them but i was hoping for more changes to gunplay as i feel it can be slightly confusing and misleading with how it currently is.

Two things I noticed while watching this: One it was smart of the wardens to build some AI defenses, but after the second time why did no one place any rifle pillbox’s near that area you set up? Major blunder for them Second, regardless of what faction, artillery and mortar teams really are the GOATs for turning a front around. A 4 unit mortar team or even two 120 guns are more effective then some players realize. Also when in doubt don’t forget to build your gains!!

My guess is it was probably out of AI range. But just building a normal one could have helped give them cover as well. And agreed! Arty always plays a huge role if you can get the shells going. One of my top rules! Always build your gains!

Oh I know how much that artillery can damage the enemies, especially mentally. I stopped playing when the artillery starts singing after I kept getting pounded every time I go out the bunker base. I also already achieved my goal of 1K revives for this war, so I have more reason to stop playing for a while.

Great question! We have no way to transport the supplies back and driving the truck would take to long off road. When the crates get dropped on the ground they despawn after a while so they eventually lose their supplies.
