I've got the b&w version and even with the known bugs that seems to have being slowly fixed with updates, I loved it!! It's working great with Vodafone UK, just keep in mind it's not a ultra fast powerful processor, it's a smartphone for basic stuff, messages, reading... I just wished the battery was slightly better but at the asked price it'd be asking too much... I'm enjoying the experience and I'm glad so far!!

Fingerprint readers are important. Same with speakers. Shame they're missing.

Only if you value your fingers and eyes below your phone. A mugger with a knife or gun can have my phone for free. Its not tied to a body part.

Anybody remember why E-ink was invented for? READING!! No offence but I believe the market is going off the rails. Devices going crazy on stylus, writing and being in color, being a tablet, playing music etc. What about just making a simple device for REAAAADING!! My first e-reader was a E-slick by Foxit then a Sony PRS-T3, a kindle DX and Kindle paperwhite, all still working and in daily use. Now a days its a game of how expensive can you go? 😂 being a jack of all trades but a master of none.

They install Android on it so that it can have access to allllll the EBook app stores there are, no longer are you limited to one vendor. However that also means a person can also do other things that are available that are on Android like your smartphone does like send emails and have a fully supported web browser. No one should be watching videos on this though like you said it's not for that

well, it also have some really low battery usage, i dont use my phone other than texting and calling, email. remember phones ? remember what they invented for ? for communication. how am i supposed to communicate if i am tied to battery percentage ?

One of the reasons people also use these is because of their eyes. Not all eyes are made for non E-ink devices.
