Loved the discussion of Gospel. Fantasia's point about other music forms is well-taken. I definitely felt the spirit in the work songs and jazz numbers too.

Wonderful interview, it's ashame it was so short. Why was it cut so short? There was so much more to be said and tap into. Can not wait to watch the movie.

Bc during a press like this they literally have one set where the artists/actors stay seated and the journalists/ interviewers interchange. So there were probably dozens of journalists lined up in the back waiting for their turn!!😂

"The Color Purple" was written by a black woman, but is not a one race story. It is everyone's story who have experienced the situations noted in "The Color Purple." Oprah rose from the ashes as did Fantasia and many other named and unnamed men and women.

Fantasia is annioted by the Lord let's get this straight fantasia didnt get the Oscar nomination so what she's a survivor and God has some plans for her I know God has some things in store but I personally feel that the Lord won't something from me and I feel what he wants is for me to work and work hard to pass these two classes that I'm taking this semester and beyond I can feel God's presence all around me all the time really I do

The Lord has a mighty plan for your life. Faith without works is indeed dead. Work hard in those 2 classes and depend on the Lord for guidance. Keep Philippians 4:13 written on your heart. Your identity is in Christ not your work ethic. Surrender it to the Lord and give it your best! I love you.
