The Coloured Pencil Chronicles | Chapter 26 | February Vlog

I've been watching so many of your videos over the last couple of months, and your such an amazing person first, artist second, I signed up to your waiting list over a month ago for your September memberships, I have everything crossed that I'm successful, I currently paint in watercolour, but felt driven to attempt more realism, there are a few other very good pencil artists out there, but there is something about your outlook on life that resonates within me, and things that life has dealt you I can relate to. So glad your now doing human portraits as well❤

I can sympathise with the sleeping bag. I hate sleeping bags because a) I’m the wrong shape, b) I can’t work out how you turn over in one without getting completely screwed up, c) I hate not having my feet free of constrictions (I sleep with my feet outside of the duvet). It sounds like you had an amazing time, what family memories you have made!

After an oil painting I would apply varnish to protect the surface, what do you do after completing a colored pencil drawing to protect it?

I store it with a piece of Glassine paper to help protect it until it is framed 🥰
