Great video! I just recently switched out my Diamondback firearms gov't profile 16" bbl for a Rosco K9 13.9". I decided id just build a full upper so I did same as you and went with BCM reciever and MCMR 13" rail to house the Rosco. The DB15 upper was way overgassed. I put a Tubbs flatwire spring to see if that could tame some of the kick along with a Spikes 4oz buffer. With new Rosco I'm unsure if the weight and spring are too much because ejection is at like 5 o'clock. I haven't had issue yet with bolt locking back. Do you have any opinions on Tubbs spring??

@operatorsanonymous1741 I really appreciate you responding. I have one in a 6.5 CM that has under 200 rounds. It's babied along like a bolt gun, so it could have snuck by long enough time for me to purchase another in a hard use gun. Not good. I've never owned one before now. I've worn out a couple of Milspc phosphate in my years and had no fun cleaning them. I did buy a couple of Melonite. I'll pass on NB in the future. They are all pretty low round count so far. I know you've mentioned 3 you like. If you only had one to choose, what would it be? What about DLC?

Ive had good luck with BA 223W HANSON PREMIUM BLACK SERIES Barrels over the years . I recently snagged BA 556N 13.9 HF CL Hanson at pretty good price . Im curious how well it will perform . I've never had Centurion or Criterion barrel let me down . Both have performed as advertised. I do favor that Cone shaped barrel Profile . Thats why K9 barrels intrigue me . I as well cannot stand Gov Profile barrels. For the longest time ive stayed away from SOLGW barrels due to the Gov Profile. Now SOLGW has the V2 Profile that looks promising. Colt Uppers and Colt BCG/BOLTS were my go too for 15+ years. About 3 or 4 years ago i switched to BCM BLEM Stripped Uppers and SOLGW BCG/BOLTS. For Lowers i only use 3 and all 3 ive had for long time . I have orginal Aero M4E1 Lower that i installed PDQ Ambi Bolt CATCH . I do not remeber when i bought this lower but i know it was 3 or 4 years before CV . LWRCI IC Lower ive been using since 2014 . Lastly Colt Lowers . Ive been using Colt in general since 2006 so id be lying if i said i wasnt bias lol . Ive been using BRT EZ Tune Gas tubes for a while now and ive figired out the formula to use in each rig . 13.9 Suppressed ususes 0.073 Tube with Springco White / H2 and YHM TURBO K-RB for 0400 oclock ejection. 13.9 LW Rig uses 0.076 Tube with Springco Yellow / BCM Car Buffer for 4 oclock ejection. 14.5 uses 0.073 Tube with LW BCG , Springco Yellow/1.7oz buffer on my main 2Gun Rig . I enjoy lighter profiles as well, however they tend to not do well with heat and stringing. Even worse so with cans, creating more droop due to the weight which leads to vertical stringing. @ yeah different tolerances doesn’t mean less quality and that’s not what I was meaning and yes I’m aware it’s wide which is why I asked, based on all those manufacturers having varying tolerances did you have any issues. Some painful truth for you. With your combat carbine, you’re more likely to die from maneuvering than by gunfire. I’m sure you have good advice to share, but I’d lose the combat angle. You’re talking the talk, but you’re belly says you’re not walking the walk.

They're sbrs lol. That used to have an 11.5 upper on it.

The whole "thumb to the side" b.s shows these dudes have never been in a real gunfight. You can't shoot and scoot with your thumb on the side like that. Wtf. If you're SpEcIaL FoRceS sniper then fine but all other times it just shows lack of experience and that you're a sheep that jumps on trends

@multicamchannel that is the old SBR lower for my 11.5 so it's actually an SBR. 😂

That's also part of the reason I still have the Aero lowers. I'm stuck with them. They're fine but kinda wish I did BCM's.

You were limping while cosplaying. You should probably hit the treadmill before your next deployment.

Yeah the Marine Corps wrecked my body. I have 5 disc herniations in my back and have had 2 knee surgeries (needing a 3rd), ACL/PCL on the first and ACL/Meniscus remove on the second. I am in the gym 4-5 days a week though. 🤙
