I wish I was hearing and seeing this in Marine Square at the State of Texas. I miss seeing all my Brother, Sisters and Friends this time of year. God Bless and Semper Fidelis, United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps.

Fifteen year old kids are pushing the ground because they fidget within the set position and flappy elbows.

Wow! Who's my favorite? Hard to say. But, I was at Marine Barracks Washington for MGySgt Rulapaugh's retirement on Sept 21st, and enjoyed the entire percussion section, but I love Tenors (I missed talking to Andrew Kain about his cute little boy), spent some time with Gage Kroljic (Front Ensemble), and saw Eric Lindquist (Bass 4). It was a honor to be able to attend and hear The Commandant's Own perform again. The last time I was at 8th and I was August 27, 2021. But heard them at DCI finals on August 10th this year. I can't wait to be able to see them again. You need to post a video of you all playing Toto's Africa. I know, it won't be with MGySgt Rulapaugh on the drumset, but that arrangement was amazing!

These marines go through boot camp, sure these may not see combat but they are serving their nation in their own way. But there is another group of “marines” who did not through boot camp, “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band who entered the corps through auditioning and is promoted to the rank of SSgt right after joining.
