My '99 is shot, worn completely out i wonder if they can replace the blade? I bought 2 of them from Shommertec back in 1999. I still have the other one new in the box its just too pretty to use.😮

Ernie, I love the Commander. Can I purchase new scales and a pivot screw for my Super Commander? I sanded them down back in rookie knife collecting days and now want things back to stock original. P.S. I’m in Canada, so sending the whole knife could be a problem now :(

My Kershaw Blur is HURT at the way I'm starring at the Commander. It wants to be the knife of operators. Maybe it means 'doctors' not to be confused with the medical specialists training on Coranado or the quiet professionals wearing berets. My Speedsafe might fail and I get bit folding the Blur for that one. I'll have to hard use it here shortly - kill some cardboard bad guy cut outs. Now back to coveting your knives Mr. Emerson. Thank you for reliably deadly tools.

Used to sell Emerson knives. Great design with the exception of the liner-lock. Prefer rocker-locker. Better locking. Positive lock. Shame.

Wanna know the secret, it’s a parlor trick. They don’t make “auto” knives. It’s slight of hand or editing

I wanted to love this but it’s my least favorite knife. Not once have I carried it. The screws don’t sit flush, the scales don’t line up, the locking mechanism is more than sticky and I find it very difficult to sharpen. It’s the kind of knife I want to cut carpet with. I’m confident it’s never going to break though, it’s well made but there wasn’t the slightest attention to detail.

I love love love my Cqc7… And if I’m not careful I can “Wave” goodbye to my pants pocket 😂😂😂 I do it wayyyyy less now than I used to…. Still faster to deploy than anything out there except a fixed blade….. Thanks for making such a B.A. piece of equipment Ernest…….🫡
