@Adam and Eve no I don’t think the mandalorians would lose to a droid army of igs even if they have an equal amount of numbers to the enemy side but clones possibly depending on their armour, and if they have any special class clones such as rocket troopers,arc troopers or commando troopers etc, if against normal standard class troops only wether in phase 1 or two armour will most definitely lose to a full army of IGs But if you give me an exact troop count and the battleground I can probably give you a full description of what would happen

@Adam and Eve I’m not saying the clones stand no chance at all as they have a divert set of troop classes which can help a lot with battle tactics if I know how many they have and what they have but if it’s just standard infantry clones I can see it ending as a loss against the IGs As with what you said about the mandalorians that is true most of them are mostly warriors alone but if consolidated into small squads and used in the right way I can see a potential victory for them as they should all have their own sets of skills and jet packs But like I said I won’t truly know until I get the terrain of the battleground and the EXACT amount of soldiers and special solider classes to predict a good outcome of said battle. I know the clones are great soldiers but the IGs are equipped with greater weapons and technology than a average clone trooper which is why I think in a fight against equal numbers the IGs could win.

Technically speaking all droids are functionally immortal, as long as they get maintenance and repairs and as long as their 'brains', their minds are intact they could theoretically live for millions if not billions of years! Unless there's an eventual limit to the droids data storage and memory capacity after being active for so many years and get the droid equivalent of alzheimer's or something like that. Only serious problems they face is the fact they live in a galaxy were most other living beings hate them, barely tolerantimg their presence and would gladly scrap them for parts or erase their precious memories (effectively killing them as a person) or could reprogram them which is like the equivalent of mind control for droids which is scary to think about.

Paranoia lead to the destruction of the droid and the general non empathy for mechanical beings in that universe. He had a mission to do and shouldnt had started questioning the whole operation. To top it off he overrides the self preservation programming to get a slaughtering droidmonster which gets obliterated in the end... he should be discharged of any command in the rebellines instantly for such a colossal failure
