Crab bomb can be turned on and tweaked in gameplay settings. But the doors? Yeah, they're tanky. Sometimes Waay too tanky.) I often forget just by how much, with all the overpowered mods making them a non-issue. I think they specifically made doors tanky to encorage tool use for either digging around or breaching. Try Browncoat's Blowtorch and Techion's Nanolyser, the first one is made specifically for it, and the second one is just funny as well as effective.)
