I'll agree that Marth, Lucina, Roy and Chrom are very similar, with some small animation changes, 2 different specials, and different properties on their swords, so they are very close to being echos of eachother, here I'll agree. But calling Ike, Robin, Corrin, and Byleth another copies of Marth is disrespectful. Outside of Lucina and Chrom, they really tried to make next FE fighters have their own flow and gameplay.

I think that he'll work on the competitive history of Luigi someday. However, I just noticed that he hasn't posted any new KZbin videos in about a year. So, it might not happen exactly right away. While you're waiting, check out on how Honest Content posted a competitive history of Luigi from Smash 64 to Brawl, but he does mention about Project M near the end of the video. The title of the video is called "Why Luigi is painfully average in Melee." Yes, he used the word "painfully" as part of his title.

I definetely like falco better because his movement makes consistent setups and his combos in ultimate are rewarding. Fox, although I like his shine, doesn't have those consistent combos like falco. And because of his fast fall speed and lower jumps he is definetely harded to juggle with or do vertical combos, which to me are the most effective.

It's funny that most of the changes that were beneficial in Ult were just straight up altered tools from his Melee toolkit. His new up-tilt is basically just his Melee shine. His bair lasts longer. His Down air combos and sets up edgegaurds again. His new fair is a long lasting hard gimp tool like his old dair. His up b kills again. Would he be better if he was more like Fox? Yeah, very obviously.

The only thing I can really think of that Melee falco would suffer from in ultimate would be a lack of wavedashing. Assuming all his aerials were kept at L cancel lag similar to Ultimate aerials and his shine still had all his properties he would be pretty good People cant powershield his lasers back at him Weaker SDI would make his shine stronger despite no waveshining He has powerful moves that have slight disjoints for days Autocancel back air too His only real downside would be lacking the ability to act out of side b like in ult, but if he got that he'd be really good And if he got his ult throws + uair and f-air he'd be probably up the top

Shiz was also super important to the Falco meta around '07-'09ish, PPMD says he initially tried to emulate Shiz when he picked up Falco (and I think Lamb Chops, another Florida Falco main). Maybe the video didn't mention Shiz because of his homophobic comments. Funnily enough, though the video says that Ginger is more in the PPMD mold, Ginger says all the time that he bases his playstyle almost entirely on Mang0's, and has taken much more from him than he has from PP. Though you could argue that how he approaches the game bears more similarity to PP, because they're both more methodical and analytical than Mang0.

There are at least players for each character. Melee Bowser has Gojira as active. Popularity of use should not their history shouldn't be shown. Something I am wondering is how many games does the fighter have to be in. This is why I'm conflicted on Snake or Rosalina to have their videos.

I dunno. I don't really think Falco struggles to kill that bad. In addition to back air, which can be comboed into from various other moves... He's got down tilt, Up smash for anti airing, and down smash for tech situations as well as forward tilt for tech set ups. And F-tilt and down tilt is also safe when spaced.

i actually love his new shine, its a defensive tool that you don’t have to strictly use for defense, meaning that weather you use it for defensive or offensive play is entirely on you to decide It makes him the most entertaining character to watch dittos of in ultimate

Of course he is better off being different than fox. I guess it just turns out that in Smash 4 they messed up. Honestly it would be annoying if he just had the same exact moves as Fox with slight variations like in melee. I think that was acceptable the first game he was in, but from then on I'm glad they actually changed his moveset to make him a little different. also put black shadow in Super Smash Bros and make him be the power version clone of Captain falcon as that would make a lot more sense because they're both from f-zero and ganondorf is from legend of Zelda and really shouldn't have a similar move set to Captain falcon at all and not to mention ganondorf deserves his own unique moveset.

Melee: One of the best characters in the game and was considered the 2nd best character in the game but is now considered 4th best by many top melee players only being beat out by puff, fox, and marth Brawl: is again one of the best characters in the game but not for a good reason (cough, cough...CHAIN GRABS...cough, cough) 4: why are you not using fox? Ultimate: better than 4 at the start of ultimate but Falco still wasn't good enough to be considered a good character. Eventually got buffed and some now consider Falco as a high tier character. We won't know what tier Falco is until offline tournaments come back but it's looking like Falco being high tier has a very good possibility of being true
