In fond memory of - Major Uday Singh, Sena Medal, Shaurya Chakra (RIP)
Harish Singh, a retired Bank Manager from Allahabad is carrying an emotional scar that makes him sceptic of the Muslim community.
But when a Muslim repair engineer comes to fix the old man's laptop, something happens that proves to him that humanity is beyond hatred.
The Army Officer displayed in this film is a real life martyr who laid his life for the nation.

For those who didn't understand the story - The old man's son, whose name was Uday Singh, was in special forces called para forces. He martyred in an islamic terrorists encounter. So, as the title says "The complaint", the old man holds the grudge with Muslims and a complaint against Islam. Notice the reaction when he reads " Imtiaz". This is the reason he doesn't talk to Imtiaz nicely. Because he has this "complaint" against all Muslim people. But when Imtiaz got him talk to his daughter, he realised that not all Muslims are bad and responsible for his son's death. Then he offers sweet to Imtiaz, who is a Muslim, and "The Complaint" against Muslims is resolved. As the title says, "The Complaint", the real complaint was not for laptop. It was a father's complaint against Islam because he lost his son because of Islamic extremism. It is very deep indeed. Great work!

Father, since then, had a grudge against all the muslim(it's quite evident when he sees the name of technician on his phone).
