You did a good job on this and do not let anyone tell you any different. I appreciate you taking the time to do all presets and showcasing the sound of each preset. I have been thinking about getting a fractal and this has really helped me.

Frank- the fact that you took the time to record all of this not only as a few fretted riffs but as actual songs played to each preset is amazing and much appreciated.

Firstly my friend , you as a musician/Guitarist are one of the best in this wonderful world of ours. You have completely blown me right out of the water. Your skill and musicality are second to none. I live in LA California USA and have played for many years as a professional and I I’m also lucky to have grown up in the same hood as Larry Carlton Lee Ritenour Mike Thompson Steve Lukather Michael Oneil to name a few. So my perspective is vast and enriched with all this greatness. But my friend your are as great as greatness can be. You have inspired me beyond anyone in my past. Thank you. Now let me say the Fractal world has been interesting to me for sometime but not enough to take me away from my longtime rig. Pedal Board and Amps. But now my friend as of this moment life has changed. You have single handedly sold millions of these pedals from your presentation alone. Absolutely brilliant. One day I’ll share with you some of what I do. You might like. Peace out my brother. FL

Hi Freddy, I can't thank you enough for your wonderful words. It is as wonderful as wonderful can be. Thank You so much. Unfortunately I'm still a pretty unknown guitarist but I'm working hard on it every day and hope that will change someday. I hope we can meet up sometime when I'm back in Los Angeles. Cheers bro :)

I had medium expectations, but you deliver the goods. This is a great showcase of what the Fractal can do. And fist bump for including some Dream Theater 👊🏻

You should get a commission for practically selling these units because of your demos of the sounds. Fantastic! I'm about to order mine in a few minutes. I'm just waiting for my balls to drop down now that I made it to the purchase page.

Thanks a lot for this video. Question: have theses presets been edited in any way or right out of the box 🤔
@FrankSteffenMueller Жыл бұрын
Thanks Jason. Mostly stock presets. Sometimes I made small adjustments like more bass, more gain, etc.

Hi Frank! Thanks for the video! Very insightful! Just wanted to know that how much level in the output meter is advisable? Is it okay if it touches the red meter when I’m playing at home? Will the same level be advisable for live use? Lastly, what was the output level of your tones you used to track this video?
@FrankSteffenMueller Жыл бұрын
It's okay when it touches the red sometimes ;)

You are a fantastic musician! Are these presets available on FM3, FM9 and the Axe? How long have you been playing guitar?

Yes, they are. He says it in the beginning of the video and it’s literally the title of the video. 🤪

From time to time Fractal changes the Factory Presets. You can download old factory preset packs for free on the Fractal Audio website.

What a stupid, unhelpful video. It is meant to demonstrate presets yet only briefly shows the text for a short while. Especially, it is difficult to catch the Scene being used. In one case, the presenter shows Preset #32 Scene 8: on the AxeFxIII both scenes 7 & 8 are blank. This is yet another Fractal video which is not showing the product but rather showcasing the ego of the presenter. Try 'customer focus'. Importantly, it does not show the guitar's pickup, tone, and volume settings. These drastically turn the unit's sound from factory into something more useful. This is especially true when using Strat type or Les Paul type guitars on the bridge pickup. If the aim is to be helpful, then this should be at the forefront of the presenter's mind.

I'm sorry if you don't like it. I put a lot of work into these videos, firstly to showcase the great presets and secondly to help customers. As a Fractal Specialist, I help many Fractal Audio users worldwide and not for money. These videos are extremely time-consuming and sometimes there are small mistakes. I'm sorry about that, but that's life. The content can always be more detailed, but at some point you just have to stop. If it's not appealing or helpful to you, I recommend Leon Todd or Cooper Carter's videos. Have a good time. Cheers Frank.
