Omg, I never noticed ratio numbers in refiner and was always guessing the correct one. Also another pro tip: you can usually get buried technology without digging if you stand right on top of it

There no Bad Planets , all are different ( for variant reasons ) Its about how you deal with and leverage problems that come about as you go , Its being prepared for the mission along the way , just like real Backpacking , or traveling for that matter . I started on a rad planet and once I found the ship I went exploring even before I repaired the first part. I did not get a storm when I found the place with the hermetic seal, but I didn't realize the hermetic seal was even there until I took a closer look at the place.
