I don't understand what you mean by "no antiaging". Both the camelia and the ginger are excellent anti-aging ingredients. Camelia is a good anti-oxidant and also known for helping with hyperpigmentation. Ginger is a very powerful antioxidant and is also soothing. This combo should really make skin look more even and effectively prevent aging. Plus the added benefit of hydration.

Hi Catarina, great point! But this video is actually based on in-depth training I've had from CHANEL education executives, not my personal analysis. In the serums for example, it's not the Camellia extract... it's the oil. There are also, patented techniques used to derive the ingredients which could change what they are used for and perhaps that's why they are only soothing and radiance boosting, not considered "anti-aging." It could also have to do with packaging and labeling standards. Regardless, CHANEL will never tell you that Hydra Beauty is anything more than a hydrating line. That's how it's marketed, that's how it's sold and that's how CHANEL employees are trained. In my personal use of the line, I've only noticed hydration as well. I hope that helps clarify for you! Thank you for this video on Chanel skincare tips Erin 🥰 i used to wear Lancome make up when i was younger, as i am aging now i swift to Chanel, however i never go into the skincare lines, i have used their primer, foundation and powder. They are super great, no cakey at all and last long as i am working since morning to night time with tons of meetings. So far i tried many makeup brands, Chanel seriously the best. Stephanie, last week I tried Lancome's Energie de Vie products. I noticed a significant difference after 24 hours. I'm very pleased with the results after just 7 days. I didn't use the products 7-Day straight. I would allow a free day in between; so really, I basically used the products for 4 days. In between days, I just used water to clean around the corners of my mouth and in between my eyes. I just allowed the Foam Cleanser, the Smoothing & Glow Boosting Liquid Care and the Water-Infused Cream every other day because my skin was still hydrated the next morning. I don't wear makeup other than eyeliner, mascara & lipstick. on my face. My skin looks amazing, and I will continue to use this line of Lancome--occasionally use the Genifique Serum samples, maybe once weekly. I spent $35 on the cleanser, $50 or $55 on the Liquid Care, and the Moisturizing Cream was free, but I will invest in a 1.7-oz. jar once I complete the trial-size container.

It's pronounced 'heedra' because it's the French way of saying it and all of the products have french names. On chanel.com and in every chanel training it's been called 'heedra'... I'm sure when I first started with Chanel I had the same thought as you lolol xx

Yes of course! But I can tell you right now, the major difference btw those two is that the milk will not foam and can be used with or without water. It's also best for sensitive or very dry skin. I'm using the Mousse Doucuer right now and love it because while it does foam, it's not very harsh at all :) What is your skin like? xx

This is very true, starting skincare young is important to not only help the skin but get in the habit so that when you really need it you already have a regimen. I meet so many women who tell me they don't use any skincare... but they're usually the ones looking for a miracle product that will fix everything overnight! Consistency is key! xx

I was looking for "dupe" products that have been used as a substitution for Lancome and Chanel's products. "Waterest Lasting Water Oil" was the suggested product for Chanel. It has interesting ingredients for less than $20. I'm tempted to buy it at Ulta. No, I'm going forward with purchasing it either in the store or online. I'll test it for 7-10 days to see if I reap any benefits. CELESTE

Sounds good! Hopefully it works out nicely! You might want to test it for a little longer to see benefits... After 7-10 days, you'll know if your skin will have a bad reaction or not but it's not long enough to see real results. The skin cycle is about 28 days, it takes more consistent use to see if the product works. Either way, it's worth a shot :) xx

It seems to be working on making pores smaller. May stick with it for another 14 days--then test Chanel. Macy's put a sample request @ beauty counter after ordering Coco Mademoiselle Body Oil. Hi Anna, so they are actually very different. It's confusing since the micro serum is blue... lol but the micro serum is for hydration only, the blue serum has antioxidants and helps renew skin with ingredients from the "blue zones". The blue serum will not hydrate the way the micro serum does, but you can also layer them together or use one in the morning and the other at night. I hope this helps! xx
