Can you work remotely with this role and promote your services online

Great video. Definitely considering the financial advisor / planner role for my future. Do you have any particular firms you recommend to aim for when looking for internships and grad schemes for current university students
@talkfs Жыл бұрын
We work more with trainee roles rather than grad schemes as becoming a Financial Advisor isn't dependent on a degree. You can't legally give advice until you have achieved DipFA, DipPFS or equivalent. Usually, our successful trainee candidates will have a level of financial planning experience or will come from mortgage advice. We haven't personally had any internship vacancies before either, but that's not to say some firms don't have them. Hope this was helpful and good luck!

Hey, just want a career advice. Is doing Introduction to UK Financial Regulation & Professional Integrity (Unit 1 of Financial Advisor Course) helpful in getting job in UK as an international student? Apart from my degree Msc Investment Banking and Finance, should I really do this course ?. Also is CIFA a good institute do this course?
@talkfs Жыл бұрын
Hi Nishant, we don't cover the CIFA so we are not well-informed enough to advise you on this. Good luck with your studies and I hope you find someone to answer your questions!

Yes the UK Financial Regulation & Professional Integrity is part of the CISI level 4 Investment Advice Diploma and will help you secure a role in the industry. The CISI level 4 Investment Advice Diploma will also qualify you as a financial advisor if you pick the financial planning & advice module. Fitch Learning offer great exam support! The qualification consists of 3 exams and also leads onto the CFP which is the highest financial planning qualification in the UK being Level 7.
