I applied to study at a Musical institute to learn this type of stuff, to think I was going to throw away 5 years of my life, to just stumble upon these videos and watching and rewatching for a couple of weeks just blows my mind. Keep it up man, you're doing real work here!

Kaleidoscope another reason they might hit so hard live is because he invests a ton of that ticket money into the sound system he brings around.. last time I saw he had several semi’s following him around with all the gear he brings

When you use reverb, what's better, using the plugin reverb or a reverb in your mixer?

Typically....if you're layering sounds (leads, pads, etc) then send them to a single channel and put the reverb on that. If you have a single sound, your choice. Ultimately though, go with whatever sounds best in your track
