I've watched your video many many times over the last year, and I believe it is still one of the best Mandalorian lore videos out there. You can almost picture the events play out as you listen to the description and music playing in the background. At 0:55 when you talk about the T'aung surviving the volcanic eruption, with blackened skies and the music in the back, you could almost see swarms of warrior T'aung attacking with their spears just decimating hoards of enemy groups, all yelling in unison and swelling with warrior pride.

@ViperEye6 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty much counting on the extra clone wars episodes and recently announced "The Mandalorian" tv series to explore their warrior culture more thoroughly, new canon Mandos do show promise and the Crusaders fighting old republic era Jedi is still a thing judging from the murals in the Mandalorian capital of Sundari. I would be surprised if the Taung as ancient predecessors of Mando culture would make a comeback though... Probably will be a way of living/ideology that was formed by some other method. Anyway, Mandalorian lore in new canon still has a long road ahead of it. Hope they can connect the dots in such a way that it starts to resemble legends lore somewhat, especially with one of the trilogies perhaps taking place thousands of years before the original movie. It would be great to see them under one banner before the pacifist movement under a true Mandalore... As allies of the Sith once more remains to be seen. Great video too to refresh one's memory, kudos.

As an OG Fett fan from way back in 1978, I am incredibly disappointed with what Lucas did to my main dude in the following years. It is clear now that Lucas never really knew what he wanted to do with this character, but the way he was introduced made the Boba character much more similar to the new Mandalorian character in the current TV series than what Boba became. This is what Fett was supposed to be, IMHO, and with any luck Favreau and Filoni will find a way to retcon Boba Fett into something like this image. That’d make my year.

@seanleastria44783 жыл бұрын
OK so the information seems mostly legit. And tbh, the talking is miles better than other vids I've seen. No clue why it would be difficult for some YT hosts to just talk normally. You don't even have to be that good at talking. Just don't talk all screwy. I see other comments praising this. But I really don't know how. Lots of the information in this is still confusing and convoluted. I wouldn't mind seeing an improved remake. More specifically a more succinct timeline on major relevant information so it's not so long. The year on top is better than nothing. But there needs to be pauses with introductions for each event. The host just talks about event after event as if they're happening at the same time. When it could be a hundred or a thousand years later. And speaking of that, the tangu didn't wander for countless thousands of years. One or two thousand at best. So there should be a transition screen showing the time and possibly a title for each event. Host also throws around names and terminology without introducing many of them or explanation. Another problem is what seems to be dramatized story telling. Rather than just present the information as any historian would. The talking at least is fine. But the info just needs to be better explained. Like actually talking to the audience. Rather than talking at them. And a huge one is to include references from which source material it came from. A major thing when presenting anything is to give references. From the start, there is no reference given as to what exact source material it came from. Also I don't get the timeline regarding Lieutenant Bogamil. If that's the case, she would be not too much younger than Old Ben Kenobi by the time of Star Wars. Which would put her in her 60s at least. When she took off her helmet in the show I didn't recognize her until she said her first line without the mask. I exploded when I immediately recognized that's Kara Thrace.
