When my adhd, autism, c-ptsd, addiction, anxiety, insomnia and leg pain really dysregulate me I go to 20 minutes in, and listen to Jesus. He tells me I am loved, needed, and cared for. I knock on his door, ask for peace of mind - and recieve. Ultimately, I am not in control, God is. That's much better. I am not alone against the world, for I have Jesus in my heart. I need nothing more.

Have just prayed for you and would also like to share my favourite verse with you. "Humble yourselves therefore under God's mighty hand that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all of your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7 I am also going through some difficult times now but today I am reminded of how amazing our Lord is. He holds us in his arms like a father with his little child and he cares for us so so deeply. He knows our needs and he is with us. God bless friend! :)

Chapter 23!!! wow! I have listened to/ read this scripture many times, but never before has it brought to my heart and mind quite how damning were Jesus' words to the Pharisees. I knew the truth of it, but the vehemence with which He must have said those words had escaped me. Oh Lord Jesus Christ Almighty, please give me the discernment, wisdom & courage to be as You in my own speech when the time calls for it.

Impressive. I've only ever read little bits and pieces of the Bible, years ago in school. This is the first time I've gone all the way through one of the Gospels. It's powerful. I'm not really a believer, but it's not at all hard to see how a story like this would capture so many hearts and minds in the ancient world.

It's alot more then just a story. The teachings of jesus are true and the new testament teachings of jesus are by and large autobiographical and are to be taken as such.

God bless you! It's rare indeed to hear someone that claim to not believe, to also say that the bible is of great power to touch hearts. It hurts a lot for someone that honestly and truly believe in Jesus, to be told by so many that faith is so horrible and that Christianity is only bad and Christians even worse, when it is something we believe to be a purely good thing, able to conquer even death. Since according to scripture only by loving others do we ever fully follow the will of God. That means you are close to God.

Walking ever closer let's his peace come to you and you Become a vessel of his living water, to help others and give his good news. So much more he can give healing is one of the easier things. Who answered and said: IT IS WRITTEN, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the MOUTH OF GOD. [Matthew 4:4] Jesus said to him: IT IS WRITTEN again: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. [Matthew 4:7] Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for IT IS WRITTEN, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve. [Matthew 4:10] ~EPISTLE OF ST. PAUL TO THE EPHESIANS CHAPTER 6 10 Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power. 11 Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. 12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. 13 Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice, 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace: 16 In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. 17 And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD) [Ephesians 6:17] 18 By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints:

Judas had a purpose , to betray Jesus. That is very interesting to me ! Judas didn’t want to betray Jesus. The entire time Jesus did his miracles , he EXPLICITLY says ‘ Do not tell anyone about this ‘. But he foresees his death and then Judas tells about him ? That’s wild. Praise the God of Nazareth and the son of Man.

Actually, Our Lord and God Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary and his grandfather was Joachim as for Joseph he was just the foster father of Our Lord and God Jesus Christ and His guardian only legally as Jesus Christ is God Himself who incarnated through The Holy Spirit and became man through The Ever-Virgin St Mary. That why in His Divinity, He is Everlasting that us why Our Lord and God Jesus Christ said to The Jews, " Before Abraham was I AM". Go learn before coming to write laughable foolishness that only betrays your ignorance and stupidity. Come to The Powerful Ever Living God Jesus Christ and He will forgive you the years of lunacy, ignorance, stupidity, blindness & satanism of unbelief, sin, filth and foolishness; and He will raise you from the spiritual death that you languish in as He raised Lazarus from the dead by the Power of His Divinity. Wake up before it is too late.

It's weird that Jesus was walking through a corn field even though corn was not in Europe or the Middle East until the 15th century AD. Why didn't they translate it as grain?

This is not complete! The NIV has made deletions and even put red letter scriptures in the footnotes. BEWARE!

The first NIV was based on older but newly discovered texts which were considered more reliable as they were older. The missing verses from King James are put in as footnotes for those who want them
