I am amazed it hasn't sold yet Nick. It is a 'forever' style home. Good luck with it. xx

I fully agree. My favorite YT transformation yet. I so wish it was mine

You originally said you were going to live there....then when you completed it you said it was sold. Is that still the case? Can't wait to see you start another reno! Best wishes!

None of the bedrooms have closets. Bedroons to small what did you do with the original light fixtures you said y liked and wanted to keep

Bedrooms in most of Europe don’t have built in closets. They use wardrobes.

Well in the last 14 minutes of this 4+hour video I finally learned where the fridge was. Actually enjoyed this reno journey but did have some questions about inconsistencies that weren't explained. The bath room on the main floor rejiggered from its original footprint > initial thinking was to position the toilet so it wasn't the first thing seen when opening the door but by the end that is exactly what you see first when opening the door. The back garden where so much vegetation was removed (and I will note from watching the very first video this was not all weeds and bramble as described, and same with the front) > after removal of the apple tree (which right from the get-go I suspected was going to be sacrificed and sure enough was sadly), there was a plan to replant including a row of privacy trees and the like at the end but this didn't happen. The reclaiming of the "period" lights did not happen. Some of these unexplained "changes" left me with some doubts about what was sincere intention and what was some placating sentiments to those who might take issue with certain aspects of the rebuild. Having said this, if not knowing this rebuild history I could see myself walking in and thinking this was all quite lovely.

I was just wondering what you think the best order to proceed when doing a full renovation is. Myself and my partner are currently looking at buying a bungalow that needs a lot of renovation and I’m feeling lost on where to start with it all. Any advice you have would be amazing, love your videos 😊

I have recently started watching this renovation project and have to say I think it’s amazing! However I do think it’s sad that you’ve extended into the roof! Just personal opinion! Would it not of been better to have purchased a house at least you wouldn’t of had the headroom issues. I will keep watching 🙂

Did I miss it? Where is the fridge in the kitchen area?

The neighbour needs to cut the conifers. It is stopping much light in the garden.

Did you pay for the fencing yourself or did the neighbours chip in?
@NicksHomeRenovations2 жыл бұрын
Neighbours paid for half of the material costs but I paid for all of the labour to thank them for putting up with renovation noise for a year!
