This movie had so much potential! Fallen was the beginning of it all, Luce lost and feeling guilty about the incident, even strange to see the "shadows" that didn't leave her alone. She trying to find answers with the melancholy of the whole dark place. It takes a long time to understand what was really going on. Daniel always intense, keeping away even loving her, one of the best fictional characters I've ever read. Cam then, a captivating character from the start. But in the movie, everything is hurriedly passed like a supernatural love triangle. The true essence was totally forgotten in a short movie.

Completely agree, the books are one of my favorite book series ever, waited so long for the film to come out and it was such a let down. Just to add to it too- Cam looks nothing like he's described in the books. Can't hate on the film since I love the books so much but definitely did not live up to its potential.

I just want to say it's very amusing how a lot of people comment they hated the movie and preffered the books. With me it's the opposite really, I loved the movie and after watching it I found out it came from a book series. I'm a book worm so of course I immediately looked them up but when I started reading the first one it was such a disappointment. The idea of the author was brilliant so I kept pushing myself to keep reading but I couldnt even finish the first book because the way the story was written just resembled a low rated Wattpad story and it just put me off. Now the movie I liked a lot. Though I agree with some that it could have been a bit longer and that they should have taken time to explain some things I could still feel the powerful vibe of past lives lovers. But since it was so much more than that and it was barely portrayed it was a major flaw. The cast was perfect and I'm actually glad it was different from the book (thinking about what little I read) because it was less rude-ish. I dont know if that makes sense but 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I loved his wings, I'd never seen that effect for wings in other movies and I loved it.

I read the whole series and I must say that usually the movies don't live up to the books because of course the books are more complite and a movie can't be as long as the book. Although this movie (in my opinion) is well done. The actors are perfect for for their roles and the location and atmosphere are right out of the story. I actually loved this movie. Of course, the ending was abrupt and they could have included more scenes with the couple but I thought it was definitely better than Twilight in terms of acting and the chemistry. It was so adorable to see unlike kristen and robert where kristen looked like she was forced to b in the film (kristen did not look like she was into men let alone Robert). But these two had sizzling chemistry and they looked like they were really in love. I totally understand that the movie was a bit bland coz it was the beginning of their love story. But I think the audience should have given them a chance. Jeremy is an amazing actor. I wish they did a trilogy and it would have made him even more famous. Jeremy is so beautiful and captivating. I'm just sad he didn't get the recognition like Robert.
