If you go into your sound settings and to your capture card, you can use that and route the audio into your computer so you don’t need to use your controller for audio. I currently have it setup and the audio is ALOT better

Pro Console Tip, Get a USB microphone, plug that into the PS5. In "Sound settings, make sure it says "HDMI Device (TV)" . In "Microphone Settings", change the input device to that usb mic and u no longer need the chat link cable. All game audio/prox chat/party chat is routed to your PC headphones and u can talk in game chat

Will this work if I want to buy a beyerdynamic headset with no mic. Then buy a usb boom mic for when I need to use party chat or discord with friends ?

@ Yes , but it depends on your setup. If you are playing straight from the TV/Monitor to the PS5 then the Beyerdynamic headset would go into the controller, while the usb boom mic would go into one of the usb slots on the PS5 - If you have an elgato setup, chances are you already have a mic for the PC/Discord, so u would need an extra mic for party/game chat on the PS5

You can still use your mixamp on the ps5, you just need to buy the hdmi astro adapter and setup that way, hdmi from monitor to (astro adapter) 2nd hdmi from console to (astro adapter) then the aux spiltter cable from mixamp also to the (astro adapter) About £35 from astros website, hope this helps

hey Joe, the ps5 pro has a problem with input delay because of these options that are on by default to fix this 1- turn off enhance image quality for ps4 games (delay reduces to 4.05 ms) 2- turn off using PSSR on playstation 5 pro 3- set graphic priority for playstation 5 pro to prioritize frame rate 4- disable v-sync 5- disable VRR 6- disable HDCP 7- turn off haptic feedback during console navigation 8- turn off vibration intensity (set it to off) (please watch) source: This Stupid Setting Boosts PS5 Pro Performance by Danial ZH
