The concerning state of Gacha Life 2 | speedpaint + rant ig? | Nikki Evers

I want to say before anybody goes to the comments to hate, no i do not hate Luni. I just feel frustrated ant the way things have gone thus far. And no, i'm not just being impatient for the update. I would rather wait a whole year for the game to release in a complete state. Unfortunately that isn’t how things happened, but i just wanted to clear that up. Love you guys 💕

I'm tired of Luni just keep abandoning a game to work on another one, he's done this before with gachaverse to move on with gacha life. He's doing the same thing again now

This is soo true !! As an adroid user I use gacha club instead of gacha life 2, and tbh, I barely see anyone use gl 2 (except for iphone users). I feel like gacha life 2 has soo much potential if Luni just focuses on one game and more importantly, himself. I have a feeling/hope that he'll give gacha life 2 an update soon, but that's just something I hope

Definitely understand where you're coming from, I wish he would finish focussing on one game before moving on to the next. I get the whole developer jam and losing motivation but, at this point GL2 is bound to become yet another unfinished gacha game. He started by dropping gacha verse, then gacha life and then gacha club and now also GL2?? Like all of them were promised a future, but continuously dropped. The only finished games I can think of off the top of my mind is gacha studio and that gacha VN he created. Plus GL2 has such promising features! If he truly felt overwhelmed, I feel like he could at least have just focussed on adding a few extra assets. No hate tho, just a bit disappointment.

This is honestly so true, as someone who has used GL2 for a while it is so annoying working around the bugs and trying to figure out how to work around them, it’s just annoying as hell, especially using studio mode, but you know whatever

I still feel the game is great even without the updates, maybe the studio isnt finished but ofc people can greenscreen. It may be buggy and half finished, but right now with how Gacha club isnt working anymore (It resets EVERYTHING when I leave the app) its the next best thing. The custom poses were definitely difficult to code into a game so quickly, and the developers are clearly trying their best to get updates to come out as quickly as possible. I agree, those are empty promises, but if he tells what he's going to add to the game and the progress before he releases it is possible competitors will use those ideas.

As an IOS user who’s played gl2 since it’s release to IOS, I agree with u. Many of us, myself included, have been waiting patiently for news or updates for gl2 for months, and we STILL haven’t gotten anything. And due to that long period of time of no updates, I’ve lost more and more interest and motivation and it’s sad. Like before u neglect a game, AT LEAST finish its main features before that happens. And like u, I also plan to switch to CB once it releases (which I’m SUPER excited for) and once I transfer most of my important ocs I’ll either just leave it rotting on my iPad or just delete it entirely due to boredom.

I think one of the biggest shames of GL2 it's that has much more powerful creation tools comapred to GC. You can still achive impressive things with GC, but as soon as you move your character everything will come apart. I think Luni ahould have at least included the stando poses either at, or immediatly after launch. One of the best things about Gacha life/club it's that they are easy to use thanks to those poses that make stop motion an easy process, but when you have to custom make them yourself that becomes more of a problem.

my mom basically broke my phone with parental controls so that I basically get all the downsides of IOS and Android, and if you go to the studio and then back home again on Gacha Club it saves.

You know next time Luni comes out with a new game to make up for GL2 not being finished I feel we shouldn’t be that excited :(

You know, I was once a gacha tuber, and before GL2 came out, I can say that everything was actually goin’ good yknow, but don’t get me wrong-GL2 is an good game, BUT.. I think it’s a lot, like the assets, just about everything inside the game itself is a lot. I rarely see any gacha tubers use GL2, but see LOTS of rants about how the new update in Gacha Club. That’s really why I have stopped being apart of the community mainly because I, myself is used to Gacha Club because it’s literally so EASY to use!!! It’s just too much for us, and I think for Luni as well. I think he needs to slow his roll..

I don’t like It I want to create stories not detailed animation I think It’s amazing people can do that but why can’t the game be for both people who want to make simple videos and for people who want to make more advanced animations I love the new hairs and accessories but not being able to create stories with the app Is annoying I don’t want to think about how I’m going to make a running pose It should already be there and I hate how we have to add ears to the hair I liked how they were already there and the one thing I was looking forward to the most the custom backgrounds Isn’t even added and the backgrounds we have are boring they should have waited and released the game fully I like the other Gacha games more and the new Gacha game nobody uses lol
