Thank you man ~ for confirmation I'm on windows 10 I found 8 year old usb and decided to see what is inside it ~ and my windows defender started acting up ~ and I ended up removing 2 viruses Kufgal and conficker.b using windows defender But was scared if some left undetected since both of them can self replicate and can hide themselves

Smash Brothers Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch seems to use the Conficker Worm to regulate gameplay. If you block it with IPS, the videogame stops working online.

Hello, I found an 18 years old laptop and tried to install some programs through a USB stick. Then I plugged the USB into my Windows 10 PC and my antivirus blocked the Conficker worm and an Update.exe file. My pc was doing weird things so I scanned the system many times, even with Superantispyware and Downadup Remover, but nothing was found. I'm afraid it's infected, but I don't know how to find the malware. Besides all this, thank you very much, you have been very helpful to me.

I had windows 10 and it still caught coficker and wrecked it so it somehow got past the patch. It also wrecked my defender service and update service, removed my safe boot and eventually made my PC unbootable :(

you left autoplay on or used a weak admin password, or it wasnt conficker. its not possible for 08-067 to impact anything higher than Win 7B. patched oob with Windows 7 official release and higher. windows 7's worst holes were the "shortcut" exploits and eternalblue (another SMB based exploit like 08-067)

funny. I was just talking about this worm yesterday. a friend and I noticed that this worm has almost the same source code as the mirry bit net. (forget how they spelled it)

oh dang. i think i got this virus when i was in junior high. ended up removing it myself through following the advice of a lot of googling lol
