I have this fear that if I stop going out, I will forget anything I have learned. But lately, going out has been exhausting. And by not keeping consistent, uncertainty breeds low confidence when you go out many days later. Emotions created for adaption fades, if you do not DRILL it in repeatedly over a certain period of time. I fear comfort, because at times the people that ‘watch’ over my actions are also bipolar, and I would tend to forget situations while they bring it back up in the future like slimey snakes, holding and waiting until you attempt to recover mentally and emotionally before they remind you that of which you were rightfully angry about since the very topic of discussion is your life, not theirs.

It would have been great if they had credited the research of the scientists-especially Dr. Robert Cialdini.

Yes exactly my thought! It's astounding they don't mention Cialdini anywhere when each video is clearly based on each chapter of his book Influence.

As a psychology professor, I hate to see this information being offered up as advice for those trying to sell a product. The truth is, if you have a good product and a competent salesman, you don't need these unethical tricks. I'm also taken aback by the shoddy job you did in explaining these simple concepts. It's not called "commitment and consistency." It's called "commitment consistency." It' simply says that people have a desire to remain consistent in their commitment to certain related behaviors. So, if you can get them to say yes to a request to perform Behavior A, they're more likely to say yes to a request to perform Behavior B, especially if those behaviors are seemingly related. Also, if you're gonna create how-to videos, you might want to get an editor. Lots of misspellings.
