Yes to privacy film!! I used the one way mirror kind that doesn’t change my window at all but makes looking in a mirror., I do catch people checking their hair here and there but better than the freakin creepy creep

Creepy neighbors are the worst. Maybe consider placing a privacy film on the window. Find one that will allow natural light in but block the view. The problem that I have with shelving units is that they're never tall enough as the plant grows or for taller established plants. The revamp looks great.

ya know, i just put up some privacy film on the window in my plant room so i can finally have the blinds up (the stairs are right outside my window so people going up/down look right in). I was thinking about it for the living room but that would be more windows to have to cover and kill the light more than I'd like to live with constantly. I need to look at some other options that don't kill the light as much. and I couldn't agree more about the shelves. they need to be adjustable!
