Not really, nor is emigration the true reason for the boon. Fact is most emigrants joins their new societies at the lowest socio-economic rank, and what do we know? Football is a game first and foremost enjoyed and played by blue collars. What distinguishes the Paris area from other world region welcoming many immigrants is the population density and the propensity of local governments to subsidies sport and social activities for the young. And that is especially true for blue collar cities. So you have the convergence of two factors big share of the population interested in playing and founding directed for such activities.

Those 2 that are the best of this century maybe even all time and they even need to wait for Beckham's retirement to be in the top while he still a youngster and these 2 still playing and he just don't care. Why he doesn't focus playing in best clubs won trophies for his clubs and himself and then make more money after he touch his prime. This is great and all but I don’t think you should criticise players who don’t care about their image either. As long as they’re no actively using it to do bad I think it’s fine if they just want to play football and leave it at that 🤷♀️. Why should they have to hide a logo, it’s a MOTM award. If they want to they can, if they don’t that’s great too.

Football is perceived as a lower class game than tennis which is why Federer has so many expensive brands.

Not sure what's controversial about this. He owns him. He clearly doesn't need the help and should have the right to control brands he's associated with.

I hated Mbappe for not coming to madrid, but from a personal perspective, it made more sense to stay at PSG. Both financially and personally. I do hope he will come to the Bernabeu one day though.

ask your team to stop being greedy with that 50-50 image rights cut...and he prob come someday...
@RaulEdu33 Жыл бұрын
@@jon-unicorn-doxxer Madrid deserves to keep that 50%, it's a brand name bigger than any player. If you give a player too much power like Mbappe at PSG, you risk creating ego tensions among teammates. Madrid idea of putting the club above any player, even over CR7 who wanted more money, has worked and translated into many titles. Like our legend Alfredo di Stefano said, "no player is as good as all of them together. Now the same thing happens, we are all a team and we all have to add up" Mbappe can stay at his PSG golden jail cell, Madridistras don't want divas.

The fact that 28 players of the last World Cup were born in the Parisian neighbouring neighborhoods should be studied further. The socio-economic component of such phenomena must be quite interesting and insightful. Ile de France alone could have a winning team in the WC. Crazy
