... I’m sorry did you not hear the part about the creator of the sculpture being deeply involved with the kkk? And how that land was stolen from the Lakota? Actually the monument was supposed to be built in a different mountain, but Borglum had changed it to the sacred Six Grandfathers mountain even though it was Sioux land. So yeah, it looks cool. But who it was built by and where it was built totally ruins the effect.
