Many years ago I watched the footage of the attack. I was a teenager but yet two things immediately struck me; firstly how many men moved towards (not away) from Stone and secondly how quickly they did so. Fast forward 20 years I had a friend who married a Falls girl and moved up there. Only then did I understand that these people were made of different stuff. He was a truly brave man. Another excellent video of stories that slipped through the cracks. Thank you

How can you be executed if you are on active service, they were there to kill people but got killed themselves.

If the IRA were at war with Britain. Hiw could their members be executed in Gibraltar? They were killed as enemy combatants surely. Were they not in Gibraltar planning an attack? Also why the big fuss over British soldier's having a shoot to kill policy regarding the IRA.Surely the IRA had a shoot to kill policy also. Just curious.

Whatever a Nationalist would do was always turned to suit the Loyalist/Brit agenda. Horrific what those three families had to endure because they tried to protect mourners at a funeral. I have always suspected that it wasn't a coincidence that the ''security forces'' choose not to be present on that occasion. Good podcast Sean....Keep 'er Lit
