Buyer beware. There are Chinese counterfeits of this knife. I have a couple of them and you have to look close. Of course $60 for a $600 knife is a bit of a giveaway.

way over overpriced . I have a clone i paid 50 bucks for an its exactly the same other than blade steel . I hate to think that it would cost me 450 bucks more for better blade steel . Microtech needs to stop price gouging their stuff .

Well that really is what makes a knife is the steel. The clone is essentially just something to look at, where as the original is not gonna break, it will hold an edge, and youll actually be able to get it sharp. A clone is kinda usless in my opinion, i guess you can poke things and open boxes, but even that will be a struggle 😂 (tip breakage, and a dull / soft edge doesnt cut very well.

Also another thing i could add is: sure the handle might be aluminum, but is it air craft 7000 series grade aluminum? Probably not.
