This documentary is from the DVD released by Cornerstone Festival to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2003. It's been out of print and hard to find ever since, so I thought they might re-release it after the festival's run ended last year, but they never did, which is why I've uploaded it now. Here it is for all to enjoy and appreciate. May the memories live forever.
"For twenty years the most unlikely event has brought thousands of people from around the world to the Midwest for a combination of music, art and community known as the Cornerstone Festival. Through interviews, photographs and archival performance clips Cornerstone Festival; Twenty Years and Counting looks at the roots of the festival, the community behind it and the lasting impact it has had on artists and fans. The story of an experience..."

This was posted 10 years after the documentary was made, and I'm watching this nearly 10 years after it was posted. Seems sad this festival doesn't exist anymore now, the Christian world sure needs more variety of music like there used to be.

Miss this Festival. I always said that I would take my kids there. Guess I can't now. But had the time of my life and my faith rocked 1997-2002!!!

I went to Cornerstone '99. I had never had such a good time at a Christian fest in my life! Many of my favorite bands I had grown to love in the 90s I finally got to see there.

Was there ‘85 - ‘86 as a Jpusa commune member, then ‘88 - ‘89 as a visitor, and finally once more & again as a Jpusa member - also my first and only appearance on the farm ‘95.

Favorite C-stone memory: during my group's first year at Cornerstone, our neighbor caught our attention. While we dined on canned beans and hot dogs, he feasted on swordfish steaks and the such. One night, we were talking and his campfire started to go out. To rekindle his fire, he sprayed a bunch of lighter fluid into the fire pit. A huge fireball ensued, singing the hair off his arms and erasing his eyebrows. After being cleared by medical, he returned to his campsite. From that point on, we called him "Burnie". To this day, I cannot remember his real name... for each following year, we just called him "Burnie". Here's to you, Burnie. May your eyebrows grow back full and lush!

The sad thing is if we had a festival like this now, most people would be singing the same style of songs :( I went in '97. No cell phones. No iPads. Just friends and good music!

I went in 03 and one memory I had was going to a Living Sacrifice last show after a long day of bands. This show was surreal as my brother and I were in the back just getting blasted by amazing music but not there mentally as we were falling asleep standing. The show was over past midnight and we slept for a couple hours waking up to the intense heat that never let you sleep comfortably. I have more, but share yours!

I so desperately wanted to go to Cornerstone for the first five years or so when I was into Christian music. I remember poring over the promo material trying to think of a way to get there. Never did work out. Still regret it.

This was a place for food for my soul. I wish I could have attended every year. Went to quite a few. My friend Bill Latocki and I got our name in the credits of this project. I introduced Bill to C-stone and he went quite a few times. He used to do the cover of the Bushnell paper for Cornerstone week. A bunch of photos of the fest. Nice layout. He also did a photo seminar at the fest called Learning to See. Nothing like it before or since. Sure miss it. Thanks for posting

I attended 89-97. Chose not to try 98 since my wife & I didn't want to bring our 10wk old baby & a 2yr old. I never did go back after that. Some of the last 1/4 of this video was news to me. Ahhhh.... the memories....
