so, i looked up charles' televised oath and coronation oath at the proclamation he says: "upholding constitutional government... guided by the council of their elected parliaments" and at the coronation he "solemnly promise(s)" to: "govern the peoples... according to their respective laws and customs" exactly the same wording as his mum. so, does this mean that charles has stated his desire to govern according to the common law? 10:28

Apologies for slow response @MrBigmikethebeast. Yes - same text as Elizabeth II. Interesting and yes, technically that is the correct text according to the constitution - and therefore not the same text as that which is in the Coronation Oath Act of 1688. This was a bit of a surprise to us too. What does it mean? Not sure - but yes promising to govern according to the Common Law and Custom. Problem is - they've gaslit the nation and themselves so much and hold a kind of double-think to such an extent that I really honestly think that some of the most senior people in the establishment actually don't really understand how it's all supposed to work!
