@@daspeed198 Jude was an 8 every year of his career up until now, even if he's better as a 10 I completely believe that Jude slightly "out of position" (not really) in the 8 to get Maddison or Foden in the 10 is a way better option than whoever you could get to partner Rice. I'm not from England though so not too invested either way.

I think Trent in midfield is essential. I don’t think foden and Bellingham could both play in the midfield as it leaves a lot for Rice to do in front of a fairly average defence. Foden can play on the left with some freedom.

I love Trent, but I would play Foden with Bellingham in front of Rice and in possession I would have Stones come up next to Rice, whilst Jude and Phil drive up behind Kane with Saka and MAYBE Grealish (Big Maybe) on that left side. Essentially, doing what Pep does with his 4-3-3/4-1-4-1, by turning it into a 3-2-4-1 when in possession.

As a Chelsea fan - Id advise against Colwill but in complete agreement that Maguire shouldnt start.. Then I think this has fallen pray to a Southgate mindset.. Trent out, Palmer in - We dont need 2 defending midfielders.. Theres this Southgate inspired idea that teams will somehow run thrugh us even though Arsenal, City and Liverpool have all played entire season with out 2 holding midfielders.. If in the super easy games (which we will win anwway) im proven wrong and we get overrun in midfield.. I do think bringing Trent in the middle is a good idea, although a touch risky as he's ironically, not that defensive lol

That's close to the team I'd go for. The only thing I'd change is Trippier for Luke Shaw or Chillwell. Never rated Trippier. I'd go Colwell too. He was playing in central defence when England won the Euro under 21 without conceding a goal. In fact I'd have Colwell before Stones. That's how high I rate Colwell. I like Trent in midfield. As a Liverpool supporter he's was tearing it up before his slight injury. And Trent is the best free kick taker in the team and the only one in the team who can score a free from distance (David Beckham range) he's the best striker of ball in the PL, best crosser and best long range passer in the PL.
