Thank you Andy for the procedure the video is good and useful. I just have a slight remark (and I know it is often the subject of inflamed debates). I am sorry and there is no offense intended ...but I guess that the real full correct procedure should only include the official international spelling alphabet and no "exotic" spelling words such as "Radio" or "Mexico" (for Romeo and Mike).

Good work my friend.. If everybody follow the procedure, first of all, chechk if the frequency is clear...Then after a few try, go with your call CQ.....It's so rare to hear someone ask if the frequency is clear ?? 73, Jim VE2QK

Hi yes Jim, with hamsphere we have the added plus option for f12 to check if the frequency is clear if there is no medical conditions restricting this, I think the emphasis should be to ask if clear first before a cq call is made as we do not have this option on real radio and is the correct procedure to get used too
