@@no1likeyousorry for late response you probably gotten a fb complete already but i bought a dynamic fingerboard 32mm width comes already assembled dynamic trucks dynamic 64d wheels there inbetween soft and hard urethane wheels had this board for 8 months love it. $100 bucks but worth it. Also a flatface g15 complete is a great option my buddy had one and i tried it loved it mike schneider knows how to make a fb. Those ran $70-75 bucks

When i orderd from bullgod fingerboards it seemed good, but the kit box didn't even fit a fingerboard.Then the nuts didn't fit the trucks and mostly was hard to assemble. Can't use that fingerboard because of that and now i just got stickers for 40 euros.

graphic side up: the bigger ones go on the bottom, small one on the top after the other truck-piece was hung in, then you screw it together. Can be very fiddly, some pincers do help to push the stack down before attempting to screw it Washers are a good idea since there are reletively huge forces on those trucks, which tend to force small pieces in-/outwards, resulting in the whole assembly becoming pointless or even break. I prefer my trucks tight, so I usually DIY my bushings as the ones delivered are usually not what I need or want. Get creative with what materials you use...I´ve done dozens so far, from wood to steelrings to hard plastic in sheets stacked on top of each other...PVC is very endurable, so I suggest using that...

I'm assuming they have the narrow side on the outside and the wider sides sandwich together? Also why do you prefer your trucks tight? I am curious

I prefer good old duct tape as my grip. Foam doesn´t work for me. Currently I have military green "grip" with a silver "graphic", makes for excellent contrast since I usually FB on my kitchen counter, which is black marble...you can actually count the rotations easily that way. The topmost truckbushings also usually suck AF...either too hard (a.k.a. becoming brittle fast) or way too soft (a.k.a. stuff hanging out of the truck). I use a small, round-ish cut-out of a 1mm thick PVC hose, works nicely and so far shows no signs of wear.

You can take your trucks off even if you grip over the screws. Just put your screw driver in the screws through the tape. Still takes them off just the same without having to rip the entire sheet of tape off. That's what I do anyway.

not exactly true about not being able to take the trucks off when grip tape is covering it, if you look at the finger board from the sides to find where the screw is you can actually twist a hole into the grip and unscrew the trucks off, it wont look the cleanest but it is still an option, i've done it once with a teak tuning custom complete
