The CORRS one of the best groups EVER. The can WRITE; PLAY; SING; ROCK........everything really. (They look good too!!!) I've spent thousands of hours enjoying their music, and hopefully will continue to do so. Can't wait for them to get togthether again. That's them at their best.... together. Thanks a lot the CORRS. Yeah, Robin...plus they have one of the best drummers in the world to lead them: Caroline rocks and rules! I put her up there with Jeff Porcaro and the inimitable Ringo Starr.

The Corrs are currently, my favorite group since the Beatles that no longer exist, but in memory.. I wish they come out with more albums. They are the best Irish siblings Ireland has to offer. Another bests are the iconic Celtic Woman, Enya and the historic Clancy Brothers who were the first sibling group with the only exception being Tommy Makem. The Corrs are the first real group composed of talented, beautiful ladies who are sisters with one brother. They are so amazing. Now only if I can get their autographed photos of them together.....Forgiven but not Forgotten is my favorite album.

It's quite crazy that you mention Irish, Celtic, siblings, Enya... and then fail to mention Clannad completely??? Enya was also once member of Clannad and the core of that band is for (one more year) siblings Maire, Paul and Ciaran Brennan (Ni Braonain). I'm absolutely sure that Clannad was the band Corr siblings looked up in the early days of their musical journey. My favorite album by the Corrs is also 'Forgiven, not forgotten' and this track has impressed from the start. Why can't they ever play it live? (I have actually seen them live just once and that was in Nottingham in 1999)

frankly, I couldn't tell that caroline and sharon was singing "No Frontiers". I thought only Andrea did lead vocals. They also sound so amazing.

This song has a delightfully tricky intro which left me unsure where the 1 beat was. I love trying to get the measures right but I found it hard to nail the downbeat with "Leave Me Alone" for the longest time. Other songs do this, too: "Girl U Want" by Devo is an excellent case in point. All that said, I am beside myself with joy from listening to The Corrs!

Boven van de Boo, Andrea is the lead singer and she also plays the Irish tin flute while Sharon. is the backup singer. Sharon plays the violin or the viola. Caroline plays percussion and the drums, she got insane skills with the beats and the other elements. Their brother, Jim plays the piano....Their parents are so lucky to produce exceptionally talented siblings. My only sadness is that I haven’t seen them in concert. I hope to see them before I become a miserably old lady.

It's Andrea like practically every time - with the exception of 'No frontiers'. I would (have) like(d) more lead vocals by both Sharon and Caroline. I'm not 100% sure but sounds like Caroline's voice/mic is louder in this than Sharon's!?

Ha ha, answer "only" 13 years later it was asked and I'm afraid even now my answer is not that brilliant. :o English is not my first language, but somehow I have always heard it as "The life we lose!" or "The life illus(ion)ed" - both would make some kind of sense in the songs lyrical context. I actually have sheet music of this whole album, but that part is not there at all. I have always liked this song but as they had so many good songs on the first album and this is quite different in style than most of the others, I think they should have used this on later album (3rd or 4th for example)!?
