+Drac03 I live in the states to. First time I saw them was on the tonight show with jay leno. I wish there were more poplar here in the states. I only heard their songs twice. Never on the radio. Over the loud speakers at Home Depot, Breathless and So Young. I wonder if there going to tour the United States?

@Music & Whistle msk I never saw them live either. Worst part is they performed a number of shows in New York City over their career. every one within a half hour walk from where I lived. Plus some performances outdoors in Rockefeller Center for morning TV shows. I live ten blocks from there. I was a fan at the time but traveled a lot for business so somehow missed them! Their touring sound system was-state of the art geared toward a heavy rock high volume presentation.

I think the show's director takes Anto Drennan for one of the Corr siblings ... he took more shots than Jim and Caroline. 😜🤟. I love The Corrs but also Anto and Keith ... I am convinced that their live sound but also many of the ideas and musical solutions are theirs.

I'm sure I love this, I appreciate it being posted, but I can't last more than a few minutes because the mix is so, so bad. This is the only sound recording that I've ever found unlistenable other than ones with obvious technical errors like dropout, distortion, etc. Again, thanks to the poster, but to the producer - it's horrible sound engineering!

Yes. Not a good mix. also syncing problems with the video. This appears (and sounds) like very warm and windy conditions there. You will notice that Andrea is having a difficult time with the monitor mix--she points to her left a few times and has a frustrated look. This band is so totally professional, they power through problems....

@Music & Whistle msk Here’s the problem with videos of live performances. We often do not know what exactly we are hearing. Where the sound was taken from. What, if anything was done to it. “Official” recordings, for DVD’s or “authorized” live recordings, are deftly taken from the house mix and often remixed and/or mastered in a studio. This soundtrack is mixed with the video. The St Patrick’s day DVD or the VH1 special or Corrs unplugged etc. Often there are overhead crowd mikes so some audience sound (applause, laughter, chanting, sing alongs) is available to mix in. Then there are videos with sound taken from the “board” at the venue and used “raw.” If done well these are my favorites. They will rarely be perfect recordings. Performances recorded by cell phone cameras are usually pretty rough. Coming from stage sounds and mostly the PA system. Sometimes these can be surprisingly good. Often a mess. Finally, some shows are done for TV or the venue (festivals etc) with less or no input from the band. Sound is usually a mixed bag. The Corrs used very sophisticated sound reinforcement. At festivals they are at the mercy of the festival/venue sound. You usually can’t have each band bring their own sound system. That is likely the case here. All in all though, I wasn’t that bothered by the less than perfect sound here.
